I'm glad to join a forum with like minded Ram drivers.
i don't own a trx, but i do own something like a little brother on the track team to the monster trx.

my last gen trx build is waiting for paint and should hit the streets by the end of this month.
this will be a shot across the bow for raptor drivers. they will have to get used to v8 baja rams driving around, haha.
it will be interesting to hear from trx owners regarding their experience with the 2021 trx.

heres the crazy part...

so many guys have taken 1500s and stuck in 6.4s, prochargers, turbos, and caged them up..

but nothing will compare to a factory 6.2 supercharged with live valve shock tuning....the TRX will blow some minds in the luxury prerunner world.

YES, you could bed cage up this beast and work towards a smarter suspension for road course type traction, maybe even aftermarket bilstein options with their new OEM technology, but this trans, engine, and transfer case puts you so far ahead.

i have not seen, within civilian grasp, 25 inches of shock travel with live valve shock technology. This may be only relevant to us TRX owners who daily drive in an aggressive manner(road course) vs actual baja trophy trucks dunes only build.

Also I'm sure that when you tally up the costs you get well into the TRX territory

Beautiful build! As a gen2 Raptor owner, I love seeing Ram prerunner builds that can run with Raptors, and even out-perform them. What size Kings you running? Also, is the back on stock suspension, or is it linked/bypass caged?

front is the dirtking 4wd suspension with 13.5 inches of travel and internal bypass coil overs with adjusters.
rear is the carli tuned leveling kit with about 13 inches of travel. it came with piggy back kings and new coils, and dropdown bracket for the stock trailing arm.
other than that, its got long tube headers with cats and 3 inch exhaust with an x pipe and 5 inch tips.

yeah, its no hellcat, but it should be decent. dirt king was working closely with Dodge on the Trx suspension, and this same kit was on the Trx concept. but 2wd mode will be fun with this! and total in is around 45k at this point including the price of the truck

suspension wise the truck should be just about on the same level. but it will lack severely in the luxury and acceleration department of course. yet, it will weigh about 5,600 lbs since its an express quad cab
