Finally 5K down , 8.99% for 72 months.😥 Not a good time this week .With 2 banks failing this may hault % rate hikes for a while.
But I will refi with DCU,5.74% for 65 months or 6.74% for 72 months.
Credit karma 786, bank 743.😹

Wow its getting crazy in the interest dept. Thats 22.5K in interest alone on a 75K loan over the term of the loan. $6300 just interest in first 12months.

Those rates suck. I just picked up the wife’s new Suburban. Financed with a local FCU for 75mo 3.74% $0 down and applied for the loan yesterday.

Congratulations on the truck. You will love it. Definitely not a good time to finance. I got 2.5 last year on my TRX. Was irritated 3 months later when my C8 arrived and it had gone to 3.5. Not sure I would pay 9% for anything.

No way @ 8.99%. PenFed is still at ~5%. I would have my financing ready before I get there from my credit unions. the morning SVB tanked, I locked on a few CD's in my 401K's for 1 year and 2 years to offset any loans on the truck... so some credit union loan rates are coming down in anticipation that Brandon-O-Nomics ain't working. Never trust a guy with cheap hair plugs and a 3rd-grade education. Also looks like I will trade my truck at CarMax they offered me what I thought was fair. the tax savings would not happen if MDCJ is paying considerably less in the current market.

Just curious now what CD rates were you able to get? Grabbed a 4.99 short term yesterday myself

I do financing for heavy equipment and higher end rates are at 8.5% max.

8.99% with a 750 fico seems way high.

Via my Fidelity 401K - Studio Bank CD 5.5% (2 year), JPMC Cd- 5.4%...(1 Year)

all have dropped since the SVB failure.

Pen Fed in my Personal is still 4.6 for 1 year

Yes ,(Carmax)28K VS (MD)23.5K for my Rav4. The tax savings is nothing.

It is what it is, man. You are a victim of circumstances. “got to pay to play.“ Look at the upside - 1) you got your truck sooner. And potentially a 2) better apr rate then what you would have gotten a couple months from now. Rates are going up… enjoy your truck! Post it if you do some cool mods!

In order to get your real score you have to look at credit bureaus and look at the auto side. Yes auto loans have there own credit score number. This score is sometimes different from your mortgage credit score or your credit card score. Credit karma is not always accurate, so it gives people false hopes on what there score really is. Also with the rates so high now and the TRX being big ticket item with repos happening now, car values dropping(trx not really, but the banks only look at it as a ram 1500 probably) and many other reasons why banks or credit unions may want money down where they didn't before.
