I don't think a trading in here is a good price here. And they don’t like to do this . Selling cars is the main business, so the trade in price is very low, and the tax saving is not worth it.
For example, I have a Toyota rav4.
carmax and give me 28k. They only give me 23.5k, which can save 1.6k tax, totally 25.1k. It's not worth it, it took a day to drive there to get the price.
