The dilemma that I am going to face is do I want two high dollar, crappy mileage vehicles in the garage? Initially I ordered the Jeep at MSRP...what ever that is and then ordered the TRX with the intention of buying which ever landed first. But truth be told I am more excited about the jeep than the truck! Guess I will worry about that when one of the two lands!

That will be a cool ride I bet he loves it. I played it safe and ordered White with the dual doors and standard hardtop. I wanted dual tops but you can't get them with the dual door options. I will get a soft top from Quadratrec. I wish now I had ordered the Sky Top.

I ordered the sky top. My mother will hate it, but this will be used mostly for mail runs in NM, lol. Looks like you are from Big Mac, I was just down at Pete's over the weekend. My customers always had me take them to Giocomos. Guess with Spirit and NOV shutting down that was the last nail in their coffin.

The highway construction was what did them in after the Covid shut them down for a while.. They are great people. Pete's is good and you can get a room. Lot's of changes in Big Mac unfortunately not in a good way.
That highway is horrible, I was cussing it for sure. Yep, that poor town is taking a hit. NOV used to be my largest customer for a good 15 or so years.

At my age getting erect is about as predictable as when the TRX will arrive! And yeah, could buy them both, and might end up doing that. I have been known to do dumbshit stuff when it comes to shiny things.
I think we all do dumb shit when it comes to shiny things that burn dead dinosaurs. I tend to only have one special use toy at a time. I find if I have more I tend to only drive one of them.
No kids, no wife, so in sum - I'm a selfish bastard with a decent income.

anyone check out America's most wanted 4x4 someone previously listed? 150k buys you a turn key hellcat Gladiator. assuming a JL with the same build would be the same. I'm thinking this is the way to go if you have the piggy bank to do it. that's a freakin jeep

AMW has a LOT of options. You can send them your Jeep (which I did), and they can convert it. They can lift them, hell, fully customize them to your needs.

We have a gladiator and love it. It can haul my bassboat, it small enough that my wife loves to drive it around town, and its great for off-roading in my area (not rocky but muddy in my area)
That said, that v6 revs too much when towing, and does not feel right compared to a V8. Wish they would offer the 392 in the gladiator and up the towing numbers to around 8500
