Iowa TRX owners?

No, im from enemy territory (cali) but I ordered my TRX from zach out there in Granger....
Im trying to find out if there is a good place anyone can recommend for a ceramic coating?

I figure its better to get the paint coated before I drive it back... Im not sure if Im going to ship it back. Because Id have to find a shipper as well

Did you talk to Zach at Granger? They can handle this before you take delivery. I think the gent to contact was a member here Jay@granger

@Goosed Zach told me to email him. I sent him an email to see what my options are. I also need to decide if Im going to drive it home or ship it.
I think its going to come down to which is cheaper. I guess if I keep it in soft foot mode and high psi... or maybe tazer 2wd mode...then the mpg might not be so bad

DSM area. Ordered in May. It's built, but no window sticker. Waiting...

I wasn't tracking the 21MY but looks like several 22MY have already been built for Iowa.

I am in the Clive / Waukee area. I just ordered a 22 last week, and registered for the forum tonight. I know it is going to be a long wait. I'd like to be able to put it out of my mind and be patient, but I keep finding myself back on the forum checking for production updates.

I bought mine in council bluffs. Live in Gretna, NE though.

Great to see you all on here. We may have to organize a GTG

I have a question for you guys…

one of the cars we have…is a 2007 Honda Element (awd)

we bought it new right after I exited the mil and got a real job lol.

it’s been my wife’s daily driver since and has racked up 145000 miles. And if things wear they get replaced. Or like when the cat just got stolen, a new one put on and a shield…

anyways, the TRX was kind of a “my wife feels bad that I’m falling apart faster than the hospitals can reassemble me” purchase.

ao im debating selling the Honda and having her drive the suburban as a daily and since I’m just a house husband ferrying the kids around, that means the TrX will Be my vehicle. (The suburban is a 2015 Yukon Denali XL with 30k)

we live in enemy territory for now, and ordered from granger ram. I was considering shipping it back, or flying out and driving.

So if we plan on selling the Honda (which for some reason they go for $8-10k with twice the mileage here); I thought maybe I should drive the Honda out to Iowa, sell it there. Then drive the trx back.
I have to ppf and ceramic coat it there anyways. That can take a few days.
So I could put it up on Craigslist or Facebook market place and say “it’s going to be available for inspection/sale on these 3-4 days”

what is the demand for rust free one owner cars like this out there? Perfect for college kids and dog owners?

(The Uber eats, flower delivery etc type people love these cars for work stuff)

There is definitely a strong demand for rust free vehicles out here in the "rust belt." However, most of the time it's the older rust-free trucks brining premium money. I know of a few dealers operate under a business model where they haul vehicles in from the south, but it's almost always 10-20 year old trucks, not cars, vans or SUVs. I'm not sure if there is as large of a market for a rust free Honda Element or similar type vehicles, but that's not to say there isn't additional value to a buyer for a clean rust free example of any vehicle (which can be very hard to find out here).

Yea I was hoping that it being awd would help.
It is a decent kids car. The 20 yr old… especially with dogs… car.

I’ll see if I can find any for sale out there and see what they are going for.

heck, if can get $8-9k here but $11-12k there it would pay for the trip.
