I honestly thought the GT would smoke the TRX. There’s no reason that it didn’t besides bad drivingIt's still undefeated in their tests and they aren't exactly running the times the truck is capable of. That said, the other rigs suffer from altitude too. For real though, this drivetrain, AWD and the way FCA has the even the factory tuning, this thing is just going to be tough to beat on the short tracks they are using. The trackhawk should have no problem taking the win, but the fight isn't as unfair as it would seem. Stop light kings for sure. There's always someone faster to challenge the crown, but TFL hasn't found them yet.
lack of traction.......can't hook in the GTI honestly thought the GT would smoke the TRX. There’s no reason that it didn’t besides bad driving
Traction and summer tires on the GT500 are in the cold. They even said in the video that the tires were cold and they didn't want to get on it too much because it was a borrowed GT500. The TRX will come off the line better then the GT500 every time but that gt500 couldn't hold straight. The GT500 also seems to be very top heavy so more of a quarter mile car. I think TFL runs these races on something closer to 1/8th of a mile.I honestly thought the GT would smoke the TRX. There’s no reason that it didn’t besides bad driving
GT500 is supposed to be a low 11s quarter mile. If you’re going to have a drag race YouTube channel then learn to launch RWD muscle carslack of traction.......can't hook in the GT
I agree that it’s not ideal conditions for the mustang but a 6000 pound truck walked itTraction and summer tires on the GT500 are in the cold. I’d be nervous to go much over 120 with the stock breaks.Yeah, anyone with more than passing knowledge of cars knows that these weren't exactly fair races. None of the races really surprised me, but that doesn't change the fact that FCA can make these AWD, hellcat powered rigs, launch like a scalded dog and keep pulling, impressively so, for a vehicle with the weight and aero of a container barge. The 118 governed top speed is going to shut down a lot of fun, or races, in tracks longer than what's shown in the video.
