But that just puts the truck in "Run" mode but doesn't start it. Why would you want to go through all those motions when all you have to do is start the truck, let the gauges sweep, enter your pin.One press is accessory, needs to be in run to input pin
How do you start your truck without the bluetooth fob or phone app via bluetooth? Without one of those it will not start. But that just puts the truck in "Run" mode but doesn't start it. I have the TRX Key in my pocket. I get into the truck, I place my foot on the break, I push the start button and the truck starts, I wait for the gauges to sweep, then I enter my pin code, watch for the hazards to flash twice, I can now drive away. This method assumes that you do not have the bluetooth fob on you or the phone activated. How do you start your truck without the bluetooth fob or phone app via bluetooth? Oh I assumed you had a compustar as well....nevermind.I have the TRX Key in my pocket. I can alternately get into the truck with both my TRX Key and the bluetooth IGLA fob (in a separate pocket always away from the TRX Key), push the start button watch for the hazards to flash twice, drive away.
I do have the Compustar/Drone as well but that does not affect how I start the truck.Oh I assumed you had a compustar as well....nevermind.
You should call or go to S&A Security Specialists LLC at 9017 west grand Ave , River Grove, Illinois if you are in the Chicago area. They set mine up for push to start.Yours is definitely setup differently. Mine will not start up without the pin or one of the bluetooth methods.
If you don’t Have it setup to start first then thats not an option to do and pressing it 2 times is necessaryBut that just puts the truck in "Run" mode but doesn't start it. Why would you want to go through all those motions when all you have to do is start the truck, let the gauges sweep, enter your pin.
You have start inhibit off, not all will be setup this way.I have the TRX Key in my pocket. Which way is better?? To start or not to start??You have start inhibit off, not all will be setup this way.
Depends on the settings, person, preference, ram app, aftermarket remote start vehicle in question ectWhich way is better?? To start or not to start??
We won’t set the app up for a customer because almost all of us don’t want it on our conscious when its stolen because some didn’t open the app, turn on the center button, start the vehicle, turn the button off and close the app like its supposed to be. If someone wants the instructions then message me but it at your own riskDid your installer not setup the app for you? It’s honestly pretty dope that I can just enable it in the app jump in the truck and start it like normal without using my pin. Obviously this comes with some risk if someone was ever able to get my phone etc. but it’s a risk I’m willing to take for the convenience.
thanks for the clarificationYes it will
am Goa have to try that on mineDoes not. Only time i've ever had codes is putting it in gear too fast. Before the gauges sweep.
You mean switching between IGLA fob and IGLA app?IGLA error codes switching between Compustar remote and app. I randomly get the error codes when going back and forth between the Compustar app and the Compustar FOB remote. Use the app exclusively, no error. Use the remote FOB after the app: error; continue using the Compustar key FOB, no error. Back to the app: error returns. Most frustrating! Anyone with ideas, I welcome the input!
No. I am using the Compustar App or the Compustar FOB to remote start. I input IGLA sequence via in-truck controls after the Compustar remote start procedure. I get an error when I change from the Compustar App to the Compustar FOB or vice-versa. I only get the error code when changing from one Compustar device to the other for the remote start and I only get it the first time when making the change from one device to the other. You mean switching between IGLA fob and IGLA app?
