• Re-negotiated the deal:
  • $1,200 per vehicle
  • $500 trip charge split amongst all of us (~$63 per person with current count)

• As of right now they can do the 9th, 16th, or 21st. Which date do y'all prefer?
• Install clarification:
  • There is NO soldering or T-connectors
  • They'll split the required wires, shave a bit of the coating, and insert the new wire and tie it all together

And just my 2 cents. I’m since your installers are coming to you, I would ask them about a GPS unit. Because the first thing the thieves will do is to pull your Uconnect and u plug the stock GPS. If they do in fact steal your truck, HIGHLY unlikely, unless they tow it, you’ll know where it’s at! So the police can bust the thieves!

FWIW, my truck was stolen here in Houston and they did pull the Uconnect and unplug GPS (I had to reconnect all of that after I got it back). However, that did not stop the RAM app from updating location, which is how I ended up getting it back.

the invoice is off by $50, should be $1250 total -- it should be $1250 to the shop and the remaining $50 to the person we are borrowing the facility from.

@Hmiscott this thread is likely gonna go quiet until another group of 5+ TRX owners in houston need the IGLA install.

HOWEVER, you can follow this thread to stay up to date on IGLA installer locations. Looks like theres a new one in San Antonio and a potential one opening up in Houston.

I’ll be one of them. Mine is a 23’ so likely won’t be until summer. Definitely interested in IGLA since I’ve seen several members talk about thefts in the Houston area.
