How much interest would there be in these, waiting on pricing for them. Definitely not breaking the key ring off of these!!

For the T13 pro remote, absolutely. There is nothing great out there for covers.

This pertains to the IGLA fobs. There is a leather one for the T13 and was told they have a new version with a flat screen so a ppf type cover can be applied that will be released in the future (but who knows)

Damn, I don’t even use the IGLA remote, oh well

Seems inconvenient requiring the hex key for assembly.

What is the purpose of these IGLA fob covers exactly? Is it not recommended to not carry the IGLA fob at all unless it's a must and to store them batteries out in a safe place and use the pin code feature.

To make $$$$?

I guess it is to protect the IGLA fob in the rare situations where you need to carry the fob?

Yeah that's what what I was thinking too. I guess it blocks the IGLA fob signal from being cloned? If true how does it transmit the signal to the IGLA device then? Also if you're carrying the IGLA fob around on your Keychain then you're vulnerable anyway.

Correct but people still like using them. Especially here. In Europe and canada they all use them and thats why they made them. I got them to give to each customer at install as well as the stickers. I explain the right and wrong way to use them so they themselves can make an informed decision as to what they want to do with them. Customer last week for example, 78 years old, 2015 1050hp whipple hellcat challenger. Has arthritis really bad and wanted that option. I explained it all to him and he still chose the pin option but was going to carry the fob on his house keys but no battery as a backup. If needed he can pop the battery out of the factory fob and authorize it so he can drive it (you can start it with no battery in the factory fob)

It doesn’t block anything at all and there is no worries about the signal being cloned. The purpose is to be able to use a metal key ring and not have it break like the thin plastic ones

Ok, just so I understand this properly the IGLA signal from the fob cannot be intercepted and cloned at all? I was told by my installer to store the fobs with the batteries out. I assumed for two reasons. 1) To stop the signal from being intercepted and or cloned.
2) To stop the batteries from dying prematurely.
I totally get the idea of the metal case to stop the plastic one from getting damaged and causing the fob to be inoperable, that in itself is a good selling feature alone.

To keep the battery fresh. They have accelerometers in them too, they feel movement then they are on, they don’t and after about 10 minutes they sleep. You never want to store something with the battery in if its removable.
As far as the signal, at this time I have not seen or heard of a way to clone an encrypted Bluetooth short range signal. If I have then believe me, you all would be the first to hear me say don’t use them and would tell you how to unpair them
