It is funny how the older more raw and majority of the time slower cars feel faster. I think about my older cobra and few mustangs I had, they had way less power and much much much slower, but just felt more fun due to being at the ragged edge with 400 ish hp and 245 tires 😂🤣

Definitely doesn't feel slow but after driving it for a few miles and putting it back in the building I pull the TRX out and it feels like a Monster truck mow.lol

As much as I love driving the TRX, I still look forward to driving the classics. It's just a totally different driving experience with the sound, smell, feel of the old school suspension and quick throttle response. Not near as fast as the TRX but the 440 six-barrel still scares me on occasion 😅

Very nice! I had 2 1998 Trans Ams back in the day. On the manual one, I did full bolt-ons with a Thunder Racing TRex cam (242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa), clutch, 9" rear, suspension, etc, etc. That car absolutely RIPPED!

Of all my cars, I miss the IROC the most and will very likely end up building another one someday.

If that is what you consider "old school," then you must be a lot younger than me! :ROFLMAO:

That is a TR custom cam, they where a good shop , the good Ole days, I guess you and I probably talked on the LS forums...

Plenty of times I love to hop into my 93 Stealth (3000gt). Different feeling, love that thing.

Also, love that WS6. The only GM I’d ever buy and the first car I ever drove that was manual transmission. Reminds me of the 88 IrocZ I used to have. Remember getting out at a red light to move the bags of sand I had in the trunk for traction.

growing up at 16 with my 94 Stealth, used to think it was a race car. The 90s/early 2000s had great albeit slow by today’s standards cars, the days of DSMs, Evos, and large underpowered v8s.

Don’t plan on selling my 4th gen fbody. 23 years of ownership and counting. 400rwhp car with heads/small cam/long tubes and 4.10 gears . Still feels faster on a roll than my TRX. Louder too with open electric cutouts.😀 I also enjoy rowing my own gears.

I bought my 2000 WS6 off the show room floor in 2000 , I drove it home an hr away with the biggest smile ever, it has 42k on it , my 95 TA was my dads , he is the reason I bought my WS6 , I had a 96 Cobra and drove his TA and was like this hauls butt, the 95 has 44k on it.

Getting off-topic in the off-topic thread a little bit, but how do ya'll like your 4-post lifts I'm seeing in these posts? The acquisition of the TRX has put me at capacity and need to clear up some floor space but there are so many options for lifts now-a-days.
