History on this TRX

Curious too if the original owner is a forum member.

Just like www.LiftedTrucks.com (multiple AZ locations and other States now)...always seem to have an attractive selection. Have they done a Carfax on the VIN (confirming where it was registered, # of owners, even serviced in the past?).

Looks like KINGs for an upgrade (springs too?) and the ADD front bumper. If a metro-Phoenix truck - guessing SDHQ in Gilbert probably sold/installed the suspension? Would be very interesting to confirm any engine tuning that often seem to accompany other $ mods. Or perhaps it was traded in just before the factory 60k powertrain warranty expired?
  • Impressed the center console (in front of the 'production' plate) looks fresh. Maybe I just habitually use the shifter too much? lol
  • ...likewise the seat cushion side bolster on the Drivers seat.
I'm 20 miles due north of this Dealer. When I traded my past Raptors (especially the Gen2) - my Dealership contact noted they wholesale/auction all used Raptors and Hellcats (guessing TRX too lol) - 'just not worth the hassle and the past history sometimes..' which may explain the frequency at secondary lots out here?

Interesting your dealer told you that...I have always said I would be terrified of buying a Hellcat powered vehicle used off the dealer lot. Of course there will be good ones out there.

Carfax is clean. Only outstanding is three previous owners. Besides that nothing really stands out.

I'm still yearning to get a Charger Hellcat Widebody in the next few years but mentally hoping for the patience to source the "right owner" who will candidly share the history/deduce their driving style too prior! Predicating the future - like meeting and liking the Parents before meeting their daughter +future Soulmate? ❤️

3 owners in 4 years and 60,000 miles? That seems like a lot but maybe I am just paranoid?

Maybe everyone wanted to drive it and just couldn't afford to keep it. Seems excessive if you asked me though and repossession/give back buyers don't usually care for their rides to well.

I get it,,,, BUT..... I usually buy new (4 Vettes and 5 Hellcats) in the past 20 years, but I have bought used "twice" (1 Vette and 1 Hellcat). When I buy used, I go for lower mileage, still in full warranty, clean carfax and do my own inspections and test drives. If all boxes get checked and still looks good, I'll buy used. The two I've bought used have been as good as new ones.

Glad to hear you had a good experience.

I made a mistake of selling my Sandblast last fall, got into a diesel truck for a few months, and hated it. This week I’m picking up another 2022 LV2 with 14700 miles, for 74995 before taxes and all that. I personally wouldn’t buy a hellcat with no powertrain warranty. They are asking almost $70K for a truck with 60K miles!? If it was my friend I’d tell him to shop around a little more.

Why did you sell the Sandblast? Too good of a deal?

Interesting data point about hating the diesel. They pull hard but have much less character in my opinion. I had a 2021 F250 Limited 6.7 Powerstroke and prefer my 2023 TRX. Not as good for road trips but much more fun overall.

I kind of overpaid buying it, then It was a good deal to sell it as well. But talking about character.. yes. I see all the guys around driving their diesels, I wanted to see if they live up to the hype. No, boring to me. I don’t tow much either. I miss the power and torque. So, buying one in black now. Low miles 2022 with newer Uconnect, Perfect maintenance records (about every 2000 miles), reputable first owner, undercoated since new, checks out all the boxes, and very good price. Benz dealer selling it. I’m taking it. Just can’t beat the TRX. I test drove all those Denali ultimates, GMC Denali EV’s, all that doesn’t even come close our truck.

those pictures of the dashpad and overall i would say keep looking...

I paid 73k for my Hydro blue two weeks ago with 34k miles. It all depends on the vehicle and circumstances if I buy used. I wanted a ‘22 and this one was clean. PPF already on the front, power fold out steps, bed liner, and level 2 loaded. Mine was a 2 owner but all highway miles and no accidents. I’ll get the Granger warranty here soon.
