So, I was trying to come up with a name for the logo following the Hellcat theme and initially thought HellRex, but it just didnt sound right, then decided I liked Hallasaurus Rex or Hellasaurus for short. HRex ??

Here is my current iteration of the Rex head created while trying to stay true to the Hellcat and Demon designs. 3/4 turned face, furled brow, tilted forward, etc.
Looking for feedback and thoughts on the design so far. Do your worst!

Yes! I am liking one a lot.

This is a work of art! Get your damn name off of it and sell me a few! Can we get this over to American Brothers Design to be made out of billet aluminum?

EXCELLENT WORK!

Hellasaurus Rex!

I love this. I’m ready to scrap what I was working on and be all in on this with you! I mean this looks like it was created by the FCA design team, well done.

i think you can ditch the soul patch/goatee/FuManchu and just provide a nice pointed chin, but not elongated?

DONE AND DONE otherwise.

I understand that the chin isn't exactly TREX-ish but that design cue was carried over from the hellcat and demon logos in an attempt to keep them as similar as possible, and appear like they all came from the same family.

Amazing...If you can partner with someone to get these made out of aluminum I (and I'm sure most everyone else on here) would buy 2 of the heads for each front fender and one of the logo plus text for the tailgate (as long as you charged less than the factory vinyl options)...not to mention when they start circulating around Ram might try and buy the design from you for the 2021 year so I would suggest paying the $75 to trademark it

That is definitely the plan, wanted some feedback on the design first before having anything produced. Seems positive so far! Once the design is ready, will get initial quotes based on quantities of those interested in a set.

As for trademarking the logo, I honestly know very little about that. A quick search suggests that the $75 price is to register it in a single state. USPTO trademarks at the federal level look to be substantially higher and more involved but I have no experience in that department.

My unsolicited opinion and will not bill you ;)

I'd redesign the letter logo....FCA has TM'd "TRX" and I'm sure the graphic is pending approval although I cannot locate it per the USPatent Office. You have duplicated FCA's marking and since they are advertising it and have put in the public domain it is first come first served...which would mean FCA. They have TM'd the SRT hellcat of course. That said the "TRX" trademark is simply a generic letter registration and doesn't lay claim to the font style. It's a toss up!!!! Haha.

For sure, and thank you for the free advice. I wouldn't include the TRX in any trademark. I was just showing it up there for additional visuals because some had said they wanted it on the bedside beside the TRX logo.

This is my favorite so far! And the red eye is awesome!

Yes, I also agree. Well done and I'd be onboard to purchase these. Black would be my choice.

Well done!
Count me in for ordering a couple of them when they are available.

I would like to discuss emblem size, and where everyone feels is going to be the best place to install a badge. American Brothers Design has 2.75" and 3" versions of the HellCat badges. On the Hellcat cars, the badges are on the front fenders, but the TRX has the vented wide fenders on the front so I am not sure there is enough space to place the badge there and look right, because the fender rolls upward and there doesn't appear to be enough flat surface there for the badge.

Front doors near the RAM badge? Possibly replacing the RAM badge? There is a body line directly above the RAM badge so the Rex badge would have to go higher than I initially pictured it. if you place it above. The White color from the configurator is easier to see the body lines on so I have shown it here for reference. Assuming the RAM lettering matches the standard 1500, it is roughly 1.5" tall so I scaled this to about the 3" height.

Possibly at the bottom of the A pillar? From multiple angles it looks like you may be able to fit a badge there as well.

I think that it looks better in front of the RAM lettering on the side. Probably would want one on the tailgate as well. I am not a fan of them up high near the a-pillar, but maybe I am in the minority here.
