Hail Damage

So who has the best deal on a CF hood? Might end up upgrading due to the hail damage.

They will fix it without an issue, you won't be able to tell a difference and it won't show on carfax or anything.
i had insurance hail damage repaired up here in Canada and it definitely went on carfax,,,,, the dealer pulled it when i was trading in,,,,,so may want to verify that ?

Does no one who owns a TRX on this forum actually have a garage?
I would be filing an insurance claims if I tried to fit the Rex into my garage. One auto, one homeowners.

Status update - my truck is still getting repaired. The estimate was nearly $15k.

9.5k to get mine repaired. Getting the carbon fiber hood. Soooo that's sweet lol

I joined the hail damage club recently. Estimate is over 20K. They have to cut my roof off and weld a new one. Scares the S**T of me that they will get it right.

Depends on the shop..............a friend of mine had his roof (Ram 2500) replaced for hail damage. The number of wires they pinched / cut and had to fix later was astounding.

Not sure if you have a Mopar extended warranty but hail damage is covered.
My buddies truck was not covered, because he was outside the 3Y-36K. Otherwise it would have been 100% covered by his Mopar BtoB warranty.

You sure about that? The Mopar factory warranty does not cover environmental conditions, nor does the extended warranty.

This is directly from the Mopar warranty language:
Mopar Warranties do not cover the costs of damage caused by environmental factors or Acts of God. “Environmental factors” include such items as airborne fallout, chemicals, tree sap, salt, ocean spray and road hazards. “Acts of God” include such things as hail, floods, windstorms, lightning, tornadoes, sandstorms and earthquakes.
