Groaning noise in the rear end.

Anyone have an issue when accelerating in a turn and hearing a loud groan and vibration from the rear end? It’s happened a few times when turning and most recently during moderate acceleration in a straight line.

I had it in last month for this noise and the driveshaft clunk. They couldn’t duplicate the rear end noise but did an update for driveshaft clunk??
Why did they think a computer update would fix a mechanical issue?

Have you checked the diff fluid? Mine was almost a quart low from the factory

Agree re rear diff fluid. Maybe even change it, rather than top it off, to ensure it's clean after having been run too low.

I haven’t checked it personally but was told it was checked at the dealer.
I’ll check it myself. Trying to schedule with a different dealer for driveshaft issue. Slim pickings for competent dealers in my area.

It’s definitely not coming from the transmission. It sounds like the noise is coming from the left rear axle.
