Morning, all, and Happy Independence Day!

I've finally gotten my sanity back and looking to get back into a TRX. Looking at some at Granger and wondering if anyone has had any recent purchasing experience(s) there. When I had my '22, I remember seeing a ton of posts praising Granger and wondering if it's still the same these days. It would be an out-of-state purchase and be financed.

Any tips, tricks, advice?

i bought my 23 from them and was the easiest experience if I do end up buying buying another ram I'll go through them

No tips or tricks. The price is the price. They are straightforward and no BS.

Even some new 2023 TRX's.

I’d be wary of a 2 year old truck that’s been sitting on the lot that long. I’m sure the tires have flat spots, needs fluids looked at possibly changed and I’d look
Closely for rust on undercarriage.

It may be 2 model years old since some 2025’s are hitting lots now. But they could very well not even be a year old yet.

Flat spots I’ll give you that, tires should be checked.
What fluids would need to be changed? Other than possibly an oil change I wouldn’t see a reason for something else.

Rust?? Really, like sitting on a dealers lot is different than sitting in someone’s driveway 😂
Unless OP is planning on putting it in a time capsule I wouldn’t be the least bit worried with that.
You wouldn’t happen to be related to the guy who got upset his rotors got rust on them the day after he washed his truck would you 😂🤣

I ordered my 22 from them and purchased a 23 Tyrant a year and a half later to replace my stolen 22. I’d say the communication was better on the most recent one. Everything went very smooth, all paper work was done remotely, and it was delivered to my door. You can get a great deal on a Tyrant, and I would not hesitate to purchase from granger again.

I would also think tires and probably fuel has gone bad. At least change out the oil Oil sitting that long in the outdoors probably cause some issues. Since these were probably not driven at all on during winter, no chance for "salt-induced" rust like most cars up north...One thing dealers do is to over inflate the tires that are sitting on the lots. i.e. 20-25 PSI above recommendation to avoid "rotating them"

How are you liking the Tyrant so far?

Wow... you weren't kidding about getting a "great deal" on a Tyrant. Lol

Shoot, if I didn't have so much invested in my truck I'd trade up.

Picked up mine yesterday and it was the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever made - signed 4 or 5 things and I was on my way back to CO, rolled into the garage right at midnight. I missed my 22 a lot, but have quickly forgotten about her. So glad the break-in period is over!

How does the tyrant feel compared to the regular power?

I honestly can't tell power-wise. It does seem like the blower is louder and possibly the exhaust, but it's been a year since I sold my 22. Anything sounds louder than a 23 Cummins Rebel and a 24 Sequoia TRD Pro, which are what i had in themeantime. Not knocking those guys, but way different obviously.

Got my 23 Tyrant from them, also a 23 392 wrangler, and a 24 2500 Rebel 6.4. Great people!

Tires and fluids, yeah maybe check them out. The only rust I would have an issue with is on the rotors. Body panel rust is usually caused by dirt that is trapped between body panels, that gets wet (over and over) and holds the moisture against the inside of the body panel. A new vehicle would have neither. My 2019 HC RE WB sat in Troy MI for 14 months on the dealer lot. The moisture trapped between the pads and rotors caused deep pitting on the rotors, that could be seen even after 4K-5K miles of driving. The selling dealer offered me another $1000 off the price for the rotor issue. Cheers !
