Dr. called 10 minutes later, I’m positive for Covid. Well fuck! Now I’m on lockdown till end of next week.

Trying to work out paperwork to do online then see if I can get someone I trust to pick it up.

My wife and daughter are just now recovering. So far so good. My symptoms have been mild but I’m high risk (Type 2diabetic, prior heat attack, fat, just turned 60 this month) so everyone is freaking.

Salesman isn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer but he’s nice enough. It seemed to completely befuddle him to do stuff remotely. I’m a trial court judge and I’ve been doing divorces, granting adoptions and putting people in jail from my recliner. It kinda puzzles me when someone gets confused by simply doing a business transaction remotely.

They are going to do spray in bedliner and looking at the Mopar power steps so that will take a few days

The dealer should be able to complete paperwork electronically now a days, and if they don't they can still send a courier drop off and pickup paperwork without contact. Dealers do not like this much because it makes the 'upsell' difficult, but they can all do it.

Lol, I’m already getting bedliner, steps and Max care 72 month/125k Mike warranty. Not much up sell left.
I do live about 75 miles away from dealer. I got folks that can pick it up but just gotta work it all out.

I am sure you are aware of the precautionary treatments. But in case you are not, you should be taking a baby aspirin everyday, Vit D3 up to 5000IU Daily, and then possibly some melatonin. I know this sounds silly and I am the last person to push home remedies but these three have some pretty good support in the literature. You may want to double up on the Vit D the first day or two. The aspirin thins your blood preventing the clotting that is seen in severely impacted pts. Good luck and as Delano said take advantage of it. Get all the little tasks done while you rest.

Shit it is a blessing. Close online. Go down yourself, stand by the truck. Tell them to toss you your keys and you’re off. No finance manager, add ons, endless sitting and waiting.

Second this. No booze and lots of fluids too. Haven’t seen the melatonin, but the aspirin makes sense and vitamin D is supported in lit.

Also if it gets worse and you think you may be trending towards severe ask the docs about convelescent plasma. It works, but only early on. And it isn’t worth the transfusion risk if you aren’t having bad symptoms.

Kind of a middle road treatment.
