Heya.

I’ve been trying to buy the Foutz rear diff skid since May.

The gent there said the ones they had were built incorrectly and they would be making more soon. Each time I reach out it’s the same answer.

Any shops have a Foutz diff skid for sale? Or anyone have one they are selling that they decided not to install?

Strange, I have the Foutz adjustable rear track bar and full tie rod kid and they fit perfect.

That diff protector looks cool. Wonder what happened during the fabrication process.

I have a few of their things too. Bumps, shock skids, track bar.

This has just been a delay. Very weird.

Lot of boulders mid trail this past week. A skid would have added a little peace of mind.

Us and @BryanE4435 have the Foutz diff skid. Works well and you dont have to remove to replace the diff oil. I wonder what was made wrong about the batch they have

Idk. It’s weird.

I’m going to call tomorrow and ask… again.
I have another trip in 2 weeks and would like the skid.
Also hoping the carbon shocks will be adjusted and built and ready to test for this trip as well.

Buddy of mine had his make a really bad rattling noise after his first time offroad post install. May be that issue? He was able to just torque it down again and the noise went away though.

Hmmm. I wonder.
I’m going to call Jake in a little bit and ask if they are available yet.

I have a trip in 2 weeks that is more technical and I’d like that skid on

Just talked to Foutz.

He said they have some going to powdercoat Tuesday. I asked to order one.
Awaiting the invoice.

Gave him some details on the upcoming TRX shocks to get their feedback.

We will be doing 2 rear options… traditional bypass and then one with some really really cool stuff. The overlander types will love it.

I dig clicks. I’m a bypass guy… but I’ll be getting the overlander version. It’s gonna be so flipping sick.
Hope to leak some pics in a week.

Finally!
Got it!

Now I just need an hour away from full time dad duty. So maybe Monday.

Fits like a glove.
Seriously, everything lined up perfect. Their shock skids took a little… man handling.
But the diff skid was perfect. Super easy install.

Peace of mind for this weekends trip!
