How do I get my VIN?
When FCA assigns your VIN it shows up on your VON at the dealer. Just ask the dealer you ordered your truck from if you have been assigned a VIN and if you have they can reprint your VON with the VIN on it....... Lots of acronyms, in a nut shell ask your dealerHow do I get my VIN?

Found a thread on here for the cs dept, gave my von and was told to expect my L/E in January! Fingers crossed!Did you get your VIN yet? Watch you be one of the fortunate folks and find out that your truck already has a build sheet and you get delivery in Jan/Feb.
Good luck!

You should get a VON when you order. You should get a VIN when you get near D statusSo to add on to that, when should I expect to get a VON?
You waiting until your dealer calls to say your truck has arrived? lolYeah I have a VON and the email but I didn’t ask for a VIN yet
Lol looks that way doesn’t it? I’m not entirely sure my dealer even had an allocation when they took my order. Last time I checked I’m in BG status. Does that mean I definitely should have a VON? Attached what I was given when ordering.Congrats!

Yeah when I tried locally an hour from you I wasn't getting much luck with allocations. I've seen some people have a VIN in BG, some not. BG your in the system but your dealer is waiting for an allocation. When you talked to your dealer last? Some said a new of allocations went out this month after there was a freeze in NovemberLol looks that way doesn’t it? I’m not entirely sure my dealer even had an allocation when they took my order. Gotcha. So I should have a VON though at least? I last takes to them maybe a week or two before those letters when out for a bunch of people.Yeah when I tried locally an hour from you I wasn't getting much luck with allocations. I think the FCA customer care chat room may be able to give it you also. I asked them and they search and found out I didnt have it yet. Not sure. The dealer is best you just can’t call them everyday probably. When FCA assigns your VIN it shows up on your VON at the dealer. I see lots of reference to a VON. Excuse my ignorance but what exactly does that stand for and how do I know if I have been issued one. What is the significance of it? A VON is a Vehicle Order Number. When your dealer puts the order into the system, and it’s accepted by the order system, it generates a VON on you Priced Order Confirmation (POC), which lists your order breakdown, that the dealer should supply to you. When the VIN is assigned, the POC will have this information on it too, the dealer simply needs to reprint it for you when that is available.I see lots of reference to a VON. Dealer stock gets built at the end? Even if its an LE?Yeah your good with a VON. Did you order a build or taking over a dealer stock order? If it's dealer stock that gets built towards the end
FCA customer service has been upfront saying Sold Order is prioritized over Dealer Stock... LE were originally supposed to be built first, and judging by the first week build numbers, looks like those are at least currently the majority of those being built (hope that keeps up), but can’t say for sure if a Dealer Stock LE gets built at the end of the LE run or after ALL other color Sold Orders.Haven’t seen anything firm from FCA on that.Dealer stock gets built at the end?
