For those with pulley and tune, would you do it again?

Noted. I don’t think i’d ever go dedicated e85 in case I have to take a long road trip for work.
Deon, one of my favorite TRX owners (also based in metro-Phoenix) found the cure... a custom 120g e83 bed tank.

Deon went from stock engine with e85 to a Redeye engine swap. Then DSR 1150, then DSR 1500 (they noted 1375 whp on their social media).

He now campaigns a very successful Cummins 1/8th mile race truck nationwide alongside Poor Boys Diesel (Phoenix, AZ).

Itching to get something smaller and mess around with.
Love the RS6, just needed a 3rd row for us. Personally would stay away from the CCB unless you’re going to track it. Noisy and crappy when cold.

Any thoughts on SRT Autoworks compared to Barth or about the same?

I would say same. Personally I feel like 80% of the skill in any build is the tune so you just need to find out who the tuner is.

Personally I would go Cordes over SRT though. Just better attention to detail.

I'm pretty sure SRT uses ZHTunes now. Both are incredible tuners. Andy and Tim build all the cars at their shop. I'm not sure of the situation at SRT.
SRT seems to be the pick a package kind of shop who can do full on builds. They have refined packages that will deliver reliably.
Barth is more of a race shop. Come to him with power goals and ideas and let the man cook you up something tailored to your goals.

Cordes would also be more of the race shop. The challenge with him lately is just getting time in the shop…although he has expanded over the years I know he runs a 3-6 month wait time sometimes. Just a heck of a backlog.

Is this a thing on Audi? On bmw the ccb is what people wish they had as opposed to the steels. Steels squeak like crazy.

It is indeed a thing. Cold feel / performance is also inconsistent. But for road rise they do wear extremely well.

I only went with the "Raptor Killer' but have nothing but great things to say about my experience with Tommy (and Jenny) at SRT Autoworks.

Can vouch for ZHT. Just had my "level 1" (93oct) rig re-tuned by him a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with everything.

Just over a year later I finally pulled the trigger.
Ordered the DT877 package, fingers crossed instal/tuning goes smooth.
Excited to feel the added power. Funny what finally pushed me over the edge was seeing the power jump from the new trx 😂🤣

Truck is officially under the knife getting the dt877 package installed.

Shop sent me the below picture…. Looks like it’s a good thing I am having this installed.a Bolt from my supercharger lid almost worked itself completely out!

Yep, they'll do that. Gotta check them regularly. They only torque to 7 ft lbs. I took them all out and applied a drop of blue locktite to them after noticing 2 of the bolts backing out, haven't noticed any backing out since
