For those with pulley and tune, would you do it again?

Personally I would stay away from FAS. Nothing but issues with them from the hellcat community. You can read for yourself on that forum.

JMS Racing is the shop that “scuba Steve” here on the forum used for his tuning/install and it was a joke. Actually probably the biggest joke of this forum since it was created. Got to the point that I messaged the shop to talk to them and they admitted their dyno isn’t accurate at all and that they remote tune on that dyno (don’t use their in house staff). There’s an entire thread on that on this forum including the screenshots from JMS. They are clueless. That set of parts for the package reaffirms that idea. Plugs are a waste and pushing well over 15 lbs on 93 octane is unwise. I would be genuinely surprised if they had any tuner that does flex tuning on MOPAR. I would ask them how they setup flex, inferred or sensor?

To my knowledge still only 4 tuners in the country that do flex tunes on hellcats. Barth, Satera, NicD and Dusterhoff.

If you really want JMS to turn the wrench then go for it but have Curt do the remote tuning then and get a good flex tune from him.
Just bought the DT937 kit. Thank you brother.

You won’t be disappointed with the e85 torque curve. Piece of advice though, if you plan to ever go more boost and run a dedicated e85 tune then do the 1200 or 1300cc injectors now.
Noted. I don’t think i’d ever go dedicated e85 in case I have to take a long road trip for work.

Did you also install a lower pulley and pin the crank lt did you keep the DT937 package as is?

That was my mindset at first. However, if you want a dedicated e85 setup and already have the injectors then all you have to do is a twenty minute pulley swap.

I DD the truck on my dedicated e85 tune and 2.6 upper pulley. If I need to do a roadtrip or actual e85 is unavailable for some reason (ie station gets a bad batch at e60 or something) then I swap on the 2.85 and load the flex tune. The big cost in the tune with Curt is based on fuel map setup and tied to your injectors.

I went with a local shop did their 900hp package. Which included the following.

Tuning all done through HPTuners
ATI Performance 10% Overdriven Harmonic Balancer Pinned to the crankshaft
AAD Performance Anti Slip Idler pulley for additional supercharger belt wrap
Gates HD Green Belt
One step colder NGK spark plugs
160 degree thermostat
KOOKS 2" Headers that are Cerakoted with our additional heat management
Custom exhaust with “green cats”
1/2" supercharger spacer plates.

My buddy has a stock TRX and it’s a noticeable difference between the two. It’s not a cheap jump but it’s something that I’ve been happy with and would do it again.
How much boost are you making ? Stock upper too?

don't know truck burned to the ground…

I think that all stemmed from that front bumper man. You shoulda gone with the Bodyguard one like I had recommended 😂
I can’t independently verify this but….

From what I understand this is a known issue with TRX’s, it’s apparently happened to a handful of them at this point. It has to do with the threads stretching on our oil filters. The filter then loosens and the oil dumps all over the engine. A lawsuit is currently pending against Ram for this.

I’ve heard this exact thing through three different independent sources and my insurance company hired a fire investigator to collect evidence to use in this case.

Wow. Which filter were you running out of curiousity?

Probably from over-tightening the filter from the factory, pretty sure mine was tightened to about 900 lb ft when I went to take it off and do my 1st oil change.

I’m running the @curtdusterhoff 937 Flex fuel kit on 37’s. Solid option for a daily IMO.
I still have to go get a hundred gallons of E85 about an hour away every month but the extra power is undoubtedly worth it.
Dusterhoff typically has the parts in stock ready to ship.
If you use code “rhett25” you can save a few bucks too 🇺🇸.

An 11 second truck with a loaded chase rack tends to be a pretty big surprise to all the raptors and cars who like to play games.
Those performance times are similar to just a FAS lower and SB intake stock tune

1foot rollout 0-60 3.48

I love the look of 37s but the eat a lot of acceleration braking and cornering

Not really all that close actually. Look at the DA’s between those runs. Probably half a second impact to 1/4 mile comparing runs with DA’s that far apart…specifically with yours being negative and the outside temp low enough that the full timing map is being implemented.

LOL, it's in offroad toy. Don't overthink it and just send it.

Obliviously a tuned modded TRX will be faster even with higher DA
My point is how much power is robbed by 37s

We had another member on here do back to back with 35s and 37s on a modded TRX. Believe it was 3-4 tenths difference in the 1/4. 2 tenths difference 0-60.

We need those 3.90’s from the RHO

There are owners post that are .5 sec slower to 60 and a full second slower In the 1/4 w37s
