For those not a fan of carbon fiber interior trim

Hey, for those not a fan of the carbon fiber interior trim pieces, what does the TR2 package put in it's place?
It seems that all of the pictures on the internet and the RAM TRUCK site only show the carbon fiber option.
Any pics would be awesome - thanks!

I can't help you other then say that the carbon fiber actually looks very nice. Regardless if this is not your thing, don't get it and if you are not happy you can always take those trim pieces out and piano black them. I did that on a couple of grand Cherokees in the past and I loved it. $20 of paint but a lot of elbow grease

It’s the same pattern that’s on my ‘19 Power Wagon, both on the door panels and the UConnect surround.

For the glove compartment area its’s vinyl w/ a different TRX logo vs the TRX logo on the CF, same vinyl strip that goes across to the drivers side, around the start button & then on the left side of the gauge cluster. Theres also a silver trim piece across the glove compartment on the CF dash

With areas like the bottom of the steering wheel, around the ac vents, rear seats center console trim, door trim, cup holder cover it looks like a diamond plate pattern (glossy). If you go through you tube videos you can find more pics.

I have 2 cars now with carbon fiber & I think they did a good job w/ the CF in the TRX, I like the matte finish & the way it looks, finishes off the interior. The carbon fiber in my Ferrari is dry weave & they’re actually carbon fiber parts, my seats are carbon fiber, along with 20 or so parts in the interior vs on my Porsche & the TRX where the carbon fiber is laminate.

I'd go red over carbon fiber personally.

Might be able to wrap or paint the parts that would be otherwise carbon fiber pieces but it would be a lot harder to do the same with your seat and other panels effected by the red option!

For me the Carbon fiber adds class to the truck while the red accents just add noise. But again this is personal taste. For what it is worth the carbon fiber looks like a proper carbon fiber and not cheap at all. I love the way it looks in my TRX!

For the red or the CF? IMO the Red Interior & Carbon Fiber goes absolutely best with:
#1 Red #2 White #3 Black. And I have a black truck my favorite paint color but will admit, the red stitching & red interior accents are bellissimo in Red & White

Then #4 Silver, #5 Granite #6 Blue & last Anvil.

Personally would still go w/ the Red interior with Silver. Granite, Blue, Anvil but think its less important than having it with Red, White & Black. Think the grey accents in the Level 2 package go best with the silver, grey, blue trucks. I know the LE’s only come with the red interior accents & CF but to my eyes the Red interior accents & stitching doesnt work as well with the Anvil as it does those others.
