thx for finding this easter egg ...
Well no way to fake the video I just did so not sure what else to say.Something about this has to be fake. There’s no way they hid the feature instead of just having it. Also if it had the capability for 2wd then you would think they would do the MPG ratings in 2wd to make em better.
I’m not saying you faked it. But there absolutely is a way to fake the video if you wanted. I’m more leaning towards its not actually 2WD or something along those lines. I’m on vacation but I’ll be back on Saturday to Test but I’m sure others will test before me.Well no way to fake the video I just did so not sure what else to say.
Not that I can think of but isn’t that enough of a reason? LolBesides doing burnouts.... Would there be any other situation this could be beneficial for?
Gas mileage. Not sure how much but it would make it better.Besides doing burnouts.... Would there be any other situation this could be beneficial for?

That’s exactly why I’m so skeptical. If they put it in the vehicle and I use it and something breaks, it’s a warranty. From the sounds of everything this vehicle isn’t meant to do 2wd at all.I will give this a go tomorrow. If I roast my drivetrain, I wonder if I would get warranty issues.
Yeah, I will try to see if I can find something in the manual that explains if its a service mode or something but it doesn't warn you not to use it.That’s exactly why I’m so skeptical. thx for confirming it does go into 2WD Hi ....Just tried it, it does enable 2wd HI!

does it stay in 2WD all the time or does it reset and have to be placed in 2WD every time you start the vehicle...Im not sure why the engineers made so all the safety items disable when you hold the button but maybe it goes into 2H to protect the transfer case when all that stuff is turned off. Just a thought.
Lol if I hold the button with it running in auto mode in drive or park, it turns off TC, then it beeps and automatic braking is disable, if I keep holding eventually TC turns back on. What am I doing wrong?Just tried it, it does enable 2wd HI!
Nope you have to do it every time because it all resets with a key cycle.does it stay in 2WD all the time or does it reset and have to be placed in 2WD every time you start the vehicle...
Hold it until you see the indicator lights on the 4wd mode buttons start to flash then release.Lol if I hold the button with it running in auto mode in drive or park, it turns off TC, then it beeps and automatic braking is disable, if I keep holding eventually TC turns back on.
