First and foremost, shout out to tripleB for giving us our daily build sheet/window sticker drug, and Nitro, KnightMare, and STRADALE for everything else you guys are doing to make this such a great and informational forum.

Since the build tracker is constantly getting updated, I haven’t been able to tell if actual build dates have aligned with those who had received estimated dates prior from their dealers. I know there is just a handful of forum members that have had trucks built. Of those members, what have you been seeing? Thanks!

Wish I could provide better info.. My dealer originally told me mid-Nov with delivery mid-December. Mine was built on 12-24 and eta for delivery is 1-15. I think now that they are pumping them out they will have more realistic eta's.

These are 2 I know of. Everyone else has basically been Michigan deliveries other than TFL who picked up at the plant

Thanks KnightMare. And congrats on the 2/8 build date. Hopefully you can verify that with your dealer today. I didn’t mean to create confusion with my post title. I’m talking primarily about build date. I just thought I read somewhere that build date and ship date are basically the same thing. Anyway, just checking if anyone’s build date giving to them prior by the dealer turned out to be the actual date tripleB found their build sheet. Or was it perhaps days sooner/later.

Ahh. The build has been looking weeks before a ship date. About 20ish people can chime in to get an average their actual build date to the estimated ship date provided by the dealer
@tripleB should be able to give the average time between build sheets and window stickers to figure that part out

I believe most, me included, were given estimated ship dates, not build dates so we really don't have enough information to know how close they are because we don't know when any of the trucks actually leave the factory. I can only tell you details about my truck since I know them personally but they hit/beat my date spot on.

On Dec 12th I was moved from D to D1 and given a 1/10 estimated ship date.
Fast forward to this week
On Monday and Tuesday (1/4-1/5), no change, still in D1 status
On Wednesday evening I was in F status (Paint) and had been moved up to a 1/8 estimated ship date and I assume my truck was finished down the line that day.
On Thursday morning my truck build sheet showed up and that evening me dealer called me to tell me that they had confirmation my truck was finished and is just waiting on a long train ride here (they claim typically 2-3 weeks)

I am hoping to see the window sticker show up today at some point. And if so then that lined up perfectly with my adjusted date and even beat the original by 2 days.
BUT, I really have no way of knowing exactly when the truck left or will leave the factory, just that its ready to.

Worth noting that the original 1/10 date is a Sunday but was given to me in 2020 when they were still working 7 days a week. They adjusted scheduling at the start of 2021 to 5 days so I'm not sure how that effects any dates that were given before this change in work schedule.

This truck has a 1/11 ship date @ 2AM. I couldn't find a schedule for the railyard yet but they probably did have a train your truck could have jumped on 1/10 if you weren't moved up.

1263 just went F status with 1/11 ship. So my ship date has moved up from the 14th

I have 01/28 ship date and no build as of yet
Ignoring the December builds because of the holidays. The builds this week have been happening 3-4 days ahead of the estimated ship dates so I wouldn't expect to see your build sheet just yet.

I just read an article online about the new F150 model. It was saying that as the manufacturer gets deeper into production the ship date lag from build date shrinks because the QC the first production runs heavier. So it sort of makes sense that would apply here. Just FYI.

Got it thanks

My dealer just let me know mine went to D1 status with an estimated ship date of Jan 24th. Will be interesting to see when build sheet shows up. My email said February delivery. At least no train shipping delay for me. I’m still setting expectations for February delivery.

The LE and other TRX from the same dealer, all sold and ordered first day with mine moved into BG from D is what I was told. I wonder if they are missing something, like red accent seats that I don’t have to go from D to BG (delay status).

This is whole process has been crazy. My truck was in the first day builds and it still hasn't shipped. It's been almost a month.

That’s kind of what I was getting at. I was thinking of getting f150 until I can get trx. Where I live we are just getting 2021 f150 showing up at the dealerships. And the ones that are arriving were built in December. The November builds are being held for Qc. Bizarre I know.
