Eibach Springs! (Finally)

Eibach’s are a fraction of the cost. I did the front leveling springs instead of leveling spacers and the ride is way better tbh

I think I got this bass-ackwards..... Was it the Geisers that came out first, and way over-priced?
And the Eibachs jumped in late with better/cheaper springs?

you are correct sir! And I have the front leveling springs and can say they are amazing to say the least. Very happy with them!

I don't know how many other vendors updated their customers, but I sent an email blast out to all of our open orders to try and let everyone know, Regardless of order date they currently are quoting that March/April date.. It stinks but it is what it is, and all of us guys big and small are ordering from the same supplier(especially after readings some of these comments & seeing how the order update is typed out) so canceling and ordering with the next guy will only put your further back in line unfortunately.

Only thing I can do is apologize to our customers for the missed ETA's, Again thats why they are Estimated Time of Arrival not Guaranteed. But Its just like waiting for your new truck that you likely ordered and waited months for with random misleading updates. I appreciate all the customers that I told this and they were understanding, some not so much. But Us as vendors only have so much control. This is very similar to the AFE Intake situation that happened when these trucks first came out.

It's been a little while so I just thought I'd chime back in here with a long term update on the prototype lift springs Eibach put on my truck. I've put on a little more than 10k miles since the install and I'm still really enjoying the daily driving. I would still describe it as a more planted feel, but without the harshness that might be expected. The truck currently sits slightly nose-high by roughly 1/2".

I'm almost ashamed to say, but I just finally had a chance to get out on some trails last weekend. We have a jeep now too, so the truck doesn't see much off road time. With the more planted (or firm) ON-road feel I was honestly a little worried about how that would translate OFF-road. I was completely blown away. I really only had about 1/2 a day to run around Anza Borrego so I ran at the full 38-40 street tire pressure. I would normally air down to 17-19, but even at full pressure the truck was a dream. The chatter and harsh rebound I had on the same terrain with my last TRX was gone. Really really impressed!

The one negative, not surprisingly is that the suspension is more prone hit full extension sooner. The 'thud' from full droop comes a little sooner and a bit more often than it did before. I say it is what it is. To me it's outweighed by all the pros. Aside from using the TazerDT to reset the suspension, I've never had the dealer do any kind of suspension recalibration. Not sure if that would make any difference, but I may ask next time I'm in to see if that would make any difference.

Side note: I had one of my CV boots leak a few months back. The dealer replaced the entire axle assembly on the one side. YMMV, but my dealer had zero issue warrantying the CV boot even with the glaring red front springs. On the work order they noted that one of the crimps on the boot was overtightened causing the tear. Who knows. I'm inclined to believe though that the increased CV angle MIGHT cause more wear on the boots, but my anecdotal research suggests that some trucks have boot issues while others don't - lifted AND stock.

Same how did you do it with the tazor. I have the front leveling springs and love them! Haven’t done a calibration though

When you do a reboot with the Tazer it resets the ride angles (ie side to side and front to back). That’s why you have to be on dead level ground when you reboot. I have no idea if it resets the ride height calibration or anything further. @Boosted do you know the extent of the Tazer suspension reset vs a dealer recalibration?

Made in USA, delay in production with shortage on raw material.

I wish they would publish the spring rates.
Or if the retail shops, especially the ones that flaunt their off-road and fabrication specialness would throw a spring on a spring dyno (literally a scale on a press) and publish the data.

So we could make an informed decision.

Leveling: +1.9" 1000lbs./in.
Lift: +3" Front 1000lbs./in. | +1.5" Rear 100-300lbs./in.

I have notes that they test between 1015 linear up front and 100/300 (10”/3”) dual rate out back.

I have the Eibachs on the front and love the way it looks and rides compared to stock.

I just placed an order for the Eibachs 1.9” front level springs along with the now available 1.5” rear springs. I strongly considered waiting for the Eibach Pro-kit or running Geisers like I have on Raptors, but the 3” front height seems aggressive for the factory shocks and suspension, at least for my needs. I hate bottoming out the shocks too easily. I’m also trying to maintain more of a factory ride which I like on the TRX. The more moderate 1.9” lift seems ideal for the front in theory. But I also want a little more height and load carrying ability from the rear. I don’t mind a slight rake from back to front, not looking to level the truck. Just add a little height to further clear my 37’s, which don’t rub as it is.

Any reason this combo might not be a good choice for those in the know? For those with Eibach front springs, are you still happy with the ride difference vs stockl? Any bottoming out issues with the front shocks? I hate that noise!

I have just the front level springs installed and love it! Way better ride, no bottoming out. Also truck is perfectly level.

Can you throw up some pics? Got mine on order along with a .75" spacer for the rear to keep just that little bit of rake, but not sure if i should install the spacer or not.
