If anyone wants to see security the video, check out the YouTube link

Be careful out there! I’m just lucky that I keep my garage door opener in my center console safe as well as having a Revelco installed. Of course CSPD hasn’t even opened a case (or bothered to send out an Officer to take photos or print the window frame) because property crime isn’t a thing around here. At least last month when multiple cars were broken into in my neighborhood, CSPD bothered to take my report and let me email my videos within 24 hours. No such luck this time. The perps got away with my tool roll (~$300 value) and my Mag Light.

Not an amateur job, showing up in 2 vehicles, face coverings, one wearing gloves, flashlights, etc. odds are they were looking for firearms, or at least to open my garage to load up as many tools as they could carry. If only the locals tried to stop these perps earlier in their criminal careers, maybe they would lower the overall crime rate.

Man that makes me mad! What a bunch of scumbags to do that to a beautiful sandblast edition.

May they die a painful and long death.

Sorry to hear this happened to you glad to hear they did not get it. Unfortunate you did not catch them in the act and air them out. Good time for you and your neighbors to watch if someone don't belong they can move along or never go home.

How is it the factory alarm on our 2012 company work truck (Chevy Half Ton) is better than a newer model like the TRX? Shouldn’t the factory alarm go off if a window is broken? That’s pretty damn sad! I’m glad they just got away with a few things and not the truck.

No glass break sensors, funny for how much these cost. They did this to us on purpose. Want to raise up insurance rates. Just forcing the sale of b.s. upon us.

I wonder if FCA owns shares of insurance companies. Wouldn't surprise me with these conglomerates.

I will say they put some bombproof components in this truck like the Dana axles which guys are running stock at way over 1000 HP from what I understand.

I am typically super critical of American mega corporations but the TRX has pleased me overall and made me respect RAM and FCA more.

Is it just me or do they run like little bitches at the end of the video?

Also, it does have me thinking about the garage door opener buttons in the visor. Those buttons seem to work all the time where in the wife’s Audi they only work when the car is running. I hadn’t really thought about someone breaking in and hitting the visor button to get access to the garage. Seems like another flaw to have those buttons always “live”.

no glass break or shock sensor sadly. Its an immobilizer only not intrusion. It'll only go off if they open the door once they've broken in, but once they program a key thats moot. The only FCA product with these sensors to my knowledge are the 22+ charger/challenger HEMI's with the "deluxe alarm" they also had a tilt sensor.

@Wwin - The only thing good from this is the way they very nicely peeled the shattered window out, less work for you other than to replace it. My instinct here is they tried to program a key and either had no idea what they were doing or it failed to start, due to ravelco, and then they resorted to taking whatever you had in it. However, im thinking they never programmed their key because if they did and then went to start the car, the lights would have come on. Likely you have been cased as most thefts seem to have been prior to the actual event. Keep your ears and eyes up. Does your key still work? You'll want to take it to the dealer with both keys, and make sure only your keys are programmed and remove any others from the RF Module.

It looks like the garages in your neighborhood are pretty big. Why not park in your garage?

You wouldn't have to worry about your garage door opener being found/stolen if you had programmed the Homelink buttons in your visor. When your truck is locked, the Homelink buttons are disabled.

Little POS's. Glad you still have your truck but ridiculous that there is no LE follow up. Our judicial system is completely broken however not really surprising anymore. We need to hold elected officials accountable until these thugs suffer consequences for their actions. It's an uphill battle. In the meantime we have to do what's necessary to protect our property and ourselves/families. Be prepared, they could be back.

Amazing truck fucking shit security!

Damn, sorry about your truck man. At least they didn't try to steal it and tear half your dash apart though. It looks like they tapped the glass to see if it had a shock sensor before busting it out but I may be mistaken. Definitely would suggest getting that or compustar and IGLA if you are going to keep parking outside. I'm actually about to head up to Colorado in a few weeks and had planned to stay one night in Colorado Springs on the way up. Might make other plans now. LOL

There has been trucks with Ravelco stolen, glad they didn't take the truck too!
I hear this stated on this forum, but when I ask for a source (URL) of it happening all I get are crickets, or a pointer to a video of a guy in a shop defeating it. I have a Ravelco and would consider switching if someone could provide a single documented case of a TRX being stolen with a Ravelco.

Yes, fellas, I'm asking this again. Break out your 🍿

They broke into mine last Wednesday night. Same window, but they tried to steal it. Same response (none) with APD here.
