Just curious, i see almost all of the TRX’S with the two DRL strips top and bottom on at least during the day whether their driving around or not. But when mine are on automatic, during the day those are on plus the actual headlights themselves. not sure what i’m doing wrong. I might have worded this weird but for those who understand, what’s the issue?

The DRL’a are actually the headlights not the LED lights surrounding the headlights if that makes any sense. I believe they’re the same headlights as the Ram 1500 Limited. I snagged this info from the 5th Gen Ram forum. You can adjust the settings in the Uconnect system to turn DRL’s on or off. When the DRL’s are activated they run at a lower power setting over turning your actual headlights on.

As RobR651 said, the DRLs are the actual headlights just on a low output setting.

The LED accent lighting (top/bottom strips) are always on and cannot be adjusted in any way.
