Uniden R3 is a good budget detector. Otherwise the R7, V1 Gen2, Escort Redline 360c are among the best. I have the V1G2 and the range is incredible.

I second the range on the V1 gen 2....will pop Ka radar 8-10 miles away (unless instant on of course)

another great reason to do this mod with the blendmount vs. aesthetics is the suction cup mounts loosen up on hot days and your radar will fall and hopefully not fall in a way that cracks your infotainment screen.

Got mine installed yesterday. Was happy my blendmount from my Raptor was the same for the TRX. Had to swap out to smaller pins for the wire tap but all went smooth. The smaller trim piece I removed by sticking a butter knife in as it was even to tight for my trim tools.
