From what we found, the T wont covers the holes and you would have to elongate the X to be taller. Then it does not look right. Been working on this for a while now. The RAM on tailgate is already to big, making TRX bigger to cover some holes?
Even if you do this, how do you resolve the "T"? And "X" would have to be taller.
TRX emblem, letters are right next to each other. RAM are separate. Thus you have to elongate TRX emblem to cover some holes, which looks off.
Try to accent line to cover it up
The only way I have found to do it and keep the scale is to do a full badge emblem that covers holes with surround or weld holes and repaint. Using drivers dash badge as reference. Colors can vary
If I am going to go thru all that trouble and it not look right, just going to make HellRex tailgate 3rd brake light. Would make it shape of OEM RAM horn tailgate logo. Just take the viper 3rd tail light and 3D scan it and scale it up and make exterior match RAM Horns
I just finished making these.
Tried to incorporate all the hellcat features and still keep the T-Rex features. It not as easy as you would think.
- Hellcat exaggerated teeth.
- Hellcat open mouth.
- Hellcat rear jaw line and teeth
- Hellcat squinting eye
- Hellcat general curvatures with anatomically correct Trex jaw, nose, eye bumps and neck.
- Trex had giant neck and muscles to drive the jaws, and skull was 6 feet long and neck was foot long. Where a hellcat or sabre tooth tiger only had 18” jaw and very small neck.
- Matched it exactly to TRX bumper, side molding and emblem colors.
- Top off head fits right under RAM "A" opening on tailgate.
On matte black hood scope air entry area with matte black:
The designing is not easy and then you will find the fit wont be right either, either to big or small, depending area you want to put it.
Let me know what you come up with. I am out of ideas.
Good Luck
