The leather on my center console is different in texture on the driver vs passenger sides. Is this a random mistake or is this how they all are? Drivers is smooth and passengers side is textured. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest but I’m curious.

Would seem that if they are going to use different textures, such as smooth vs. pebbled, it would be symmetrical?

Nah. That ain’t cool.

even if it doesn’t bother you I would still file a warranty claim. When you sell it the buyer might care

Pretty sure that somebody ran out smooth and thought they could get away with it. But that is absurd.

On the bright side. The stitching looks pretty decent

Or you could look at it that you might now have the most unique TRX ever built.... as long as your wheels don’t fall off.

I've noticed that before on the limited trucks as well. The dealer told me to refer to the leather tag on the seat stating that its natural leather and its "grain discrepancies." Not sure what that means but its not the nicest looking thing when its side by side. They could have at least picked a similar piece of cow hide when its this close together especially when its this pricey of a truck 🤣

That feels like more than grain discrepancies. Thats like the difference between calf skin and elephant hide

My Ram 1500 Limited interior is exactly like that. They told me that it's a normal pattern on leather. I think we'll see this on all TRX.
