I am truly amazed. After just helping a friend purchase a used TRD in Florida, I am now intimately aware of the hatred of dealers.
I am a dealer outside of Detroit. I helped my friend through the process of buying a 4Runner. He paid exactly what they were asking.
The EASIEST sale ever. And this dealer made into a nightmare.
I guess as a dealer, I have always trusted our salespeople to make things quick and easy for our customers.
I am now well aware of what problems we bring to ourselves. These TRX deals should be so easy, but can now feel everyone’s pain when dealing with terrible salesman and dealerships. Thanks for reading, but WOW!

Need more good dealers like you. Ram needs to do a better job at identifying good dealers and empowering them in times of high attention vehicle launches. I have a great dealer locally so am fortunate but wish Ram would show them better respect by giving them more TRXs to sell then the dealers around me who have seen 3-4 TRXs all sold for over MSRP.

Do they have a Ram dealer meet or some corporate event? I think if you brought me, Bambi and Knightmare to give them some pointers, we could help improve this process a lot. Then roll in Caliche since we need at least one nice person balance things out. And we need someone to bail the three of us out after the event lol.

I am still reeling from this. I am in Detroit, so everything is a bit more cut and dry with employee pricing, friends, etc..

However, I am not being dramatic when I say this was embarrassing for all car salespeople. Nothing like a $1800 document fee!!!!

On another note, there really is t any type of regional meeting for dealers when pricing or issues with product is discussed. We do have meetings to recap the month before prior, however they are more of an overview of the coming month.
