The TRX is a unique platform. It’s not light… but it’s not obese.

The unique to the trx and different than the ram 1500 rebel shock bucket and the oem lca geometry and motion ratios…. Combined with the speed the truck can generate….

Requires unique spring rates up front.

What is commercially available from the industry standards are limited at 700lbs.

Factory is 1050 to 1100 depending on part number and like most oems is over sprung.

But 700 is too light and you are forced to add too much comp tuning and nitro pressure and your rebound is… well I’m not a shock tuner.

One of the big delays for the carbon trx shock release was springs. We wanted an ideal package using made in the USA parts.

So lots of testing. And we needed a stiffer spring. I’m not going to let the cat out of the bag on rate.
But the springs are made in the USA for carbon to carbon specs. Including an Easter egg part number.

But, I like details and behind the scenes stuff. The production run of springs came in a few days ago and assembly has started and shipping is doing their thing.

But I want to show some pics and I may get yelled at by the owner of the company. Or he may come here and release all the secrets …

Custom springs specific for the trx and RHO… not just using what’s available on the shelf.

Tuning proper spring frequency to the natural oscillation of the vehicle.

Proof is in the performance and so far all who installed have said OMG they cannot believe how good they do and how much they love their truck again.

Fifty, any plans to do custom rates for guys that have more weight in the rear?

I want to.

But these springs take forever to make.

I’m still waiting on the test drop springs for the drag/street guys.

If I could get 10 people to preorder some rears. Stock height but let’s say 175/300 instead of 103/250 (stock)

Wouldn't the Eibach Springs accommodate this?

Maybe. They lift 1.6”
I need to load them up to see how much weight brings it back to oem height.

The regular Eibachs lift 1.5" in the rear and the HDs lift 2.6" in the rear.
Great info! Thanks Rick!

The hard part when handling extra weight is what to do when that weight is not there.
What are they squatting out with say 500 LB ect..... 1000Lbs ect... How much weight do people want to be able to carry ect...
Tough questions to dial in every scenario.

I think the idea is that if you always carry say 400 lb, you want the spring rate to be ideal at like 800 lb or 600lb, so it's not BAD at only 400lb, but it also still works at 1,000lb.

For me. Personally I want to target the weight of 37 inch tires, a fuel can, a jack etc etc and a 50 qt cooler.

Exactly. We cant expect anyone to make us springs that feel just as good fully loaded as they do empty but for those of us that carry XX amount of weight no matter what we're doing or where we're going, that's what I'd like to have dialed in someday 🤘🤘
