One of the major complaints so far with this truck is the performance of the brakes under repeated heavy use. I don't believe it would be too difficult to design a custom kit if none of the big brake kit manufacturer's see the merit in making one themselves.

A kit would be dependent on availability of larger rotors with the correct lug spacing.

I'm trying to gauge interest in a custom big brake upgrade kit that utilized larger brembo calipers and rotors. This is mostly relying on a engineered caliper bracket that I would design. The cost might be a bit more than say a standard upgrade kit from brembo given the low production volumes and engineering time.

I was going to make some cooling ducks and a little more aggressive pad. they should have put 19 or 20 " wheels on it the calipers are super close to the wheel. heat can't get out as good.

was going to try a pair of carbotech pads and good quality rotor, but this fat pig needs a 6 piston monobloc caliper with 15"+ rotor to compliment.

Take my money. I would run 20’s just to fit larger brakes

yes, I am interested, Baer or willwood might be easier to work with. The bolt spacing isn't that big of a deal if we have 2 piece rotors available as we can use an off the shelf rotor, and just machine a custom hat that can be reused.

Im interested as well. Will be following.

I am interested. Even just daily driving it is noticeable how much more brake input is required. I've had a few minor oh shit moments in between stop lights. You need to be very aware it doesn't like to stop.

I’m interested also..following

interested also

I’m interested, first thing I am going to do is pull the factory brake fluid and put in some motul 600.

I spoke to willwood. They had a kit for older 1500 but no plans for trx. I posted the detail in other brake thread. Brembo no go

I’m probably going to do similar along with stainless lines. Maybe more aggressive pads

Very interested.

Interested! Would like to get a set of 20” wheels and larger brakes. I plan on towing a loaded cargo trailer, need all the help I can get!

Interested.. count me in

I will continue researching this. Seems brembo is out for an in house solution. I'm not sure if that is due to brake feedback for the ACC and auto stop feature being calibrated to the oem setup.

Yes on both, just starting with fluid. Buddy took his out on the race track a week ago and 1.5 laps in, zero brakes
If you do them, I'd love to get a parts list from you as you appear to know a little about cars/truck/racetrack!
