That’s neat, haven’t seen a design like that so far… something tells me $$$Cps intake here. She whines like the bwoody and uses the hood scoop vent. Another option to consider.

Would the claimed 13WHP increase here be similar to the 28 HP claim by AFE?Link below:

Wicked!Yes, similar hp. I had the afe super stock to start, which was a nice set up but not nearly enough whine. This cps screams. I was going bwoody and then saw this cps (integrating the factory hood scoop) and jump squads video sold me on it. So far, I love it!
Thanks
Funny thing is I've taken the truck to the dealer a few times for oil changes and asked. They told me it's normal but it's slightly below "low".
Where do you keep yours at? Have a pic?
What brand should I get
I should have added it a while back. Will grab some at the dealer and add tomorrow- appreciate the help!!It should be between the high and low marks when the fluid is cold.
Use this stuff.

Cornerstone?Cps intake here. She whines like the bwoody and uses the hood scoop vent. Another option to consider.
curious why you left the support bar for the oem intake in the truck?I ended up finding a new ripatoned one on ebay that was discounted. And love the sound. Was looking at bwoody but couldnt pass up the deal.
Between it and being straight piped it is hard not to stay in the throttle.

Just put it back on in case it was some support for something else. But took off since then. Also put a black filter cover over filter. Couldn't stand the christmas look.curious why you left the support bar for the oem intake in the truck?
No, cruising at higher gears its not audible. If I lived in AZ, FL or AL or somewhere really hot I would get the IAT harness that Bwoody sells.I've got a question about the BWoody or the other open filter intakes, do they drone/whine when cruising on the interstate? Just wondering if that would become an issue. My other concern is I live in good ole' Alabama and it's humid as all hell here so open w/ more heat during the summer might be a good option.
What does that harness effect? No I'm not going to off road either and I'm probably going with AEW or Corsa so that'll be added noise. I also looked at the JMB intake as well. I'm assuming in reality for everyday fun there is no performance difference between S&B, BWoody, and most others right? No, cruising at higher gears its not audible. TBH I debated this Bwoody for years worrying way too much about it. Have had 3 different CAIs. They all were the same as far in most aspects including temp.
You'll notice nothing different except the whine.
You get the harness in the event of an extremely hot day and you'll prob never deal with anything different than normal.
I don't offroad so if you do I would consider an enclosed one
So in extreme heat the engine could throw a code with the Bwoody/JMB depending in how hot it can get. What does that harness effect? Thank you for the info man, didn't know that about the harness! Tbh it gets hot here like 90's but really it's the damn humidity down here. I don't track it or off road it. Just daily drive it to work and the occasional future family trip to the beach. Oh I bet cut outs with a BWoody is just insane! So in extreme heat the engine could throw a code with the Bwoody/JMB depending in how hot it can get.
Bwoody offers a harness that will prevent that code from ever coming up.
I've noticed similar temps between my S&B and Bwoody where both worked in very similar conditions. I guess this harness is for the folks that live in 120 degree summer days.
I've noticed zero performance difference from S&B and Bwoody.
Thing is I have exhaust electric cutouts and when they were open I could barely hear my SC with the S&B. I love whine so figured would try the Bwoody. JMB is an awesome option don't think these differ at all other than engine bay design.
