Just a heads up, our discounted aFe Sale starts in 2 days! I will post details as soon as I have it! Reduced prices will be on-site.

What’s the difference between the track series and the magnum force? Are they both open filter or do they have a cover like the SB?

Track series I believe has a lot of carbon fiber construction. They seal against the bottom of the hood, so while they appear open filter, they are not.

That is correct.

BTW guys, these are on-sale from today until 12/5. Pricing just dropped this morning on the line via API on our site by up to 15% off. And you can use the forum discount code for added savings too.

How’s that magnum force treating you? In still debating between that or the momentum gt but I have yet to find any legit argument

Technically speaking, the Momentum GT has slightly better build quality and supposedly nets you a slightly higher number of ponies (the higher price point reflects this). That being said, I like my Mangum Force better for a few reasons.
1) Easier to change the filter.
2) The Magnum Force sticker comes off without leaving an impression/dimple, for a better aesthetic, in my opinion.
3) Still on par with S&B for build quality, which is not shabby at all!
4) No one will notice that small of a difference in ponies.

If you do buy one, or the track series, make sure and put some sort of padding (rubber seal or gasket) on the underside where it sits over the supercharger and over the throttle body. These and the S&B tend to rub paint off the supercharger, and sometimes apply a bit of pressure to the throttle body electrical connector, if you do not.

Awesome thanks for the reply! I think I might go with the momentum Gt they’re on sale right now for like $780. So really other than the filter being slightly harder to change there’s no other downside you think? I had read some people say it was more potential failure points?

As it has two filters and two tubes going to those filters, instead of one tube to one filter, I suppose it does technically have more failure points. Not sure I would worry about it myself, but it is more clamps to check routinely.

Just placed my order on the red momentum Gt!
