"Whoa, that is awesome and I want that truck" is what I said to my wife after seeing the TRX prototype at the Texas state fair back in 2016.

At the time, I bought a 2017 Rebel figuring to parlay the Rebel to the TRX when/if the concept ever made it to production.

After the TRX youtube debut in August, I ordered... and now it is hard to believe that it has been 6 months and many of us are still without a truck or any information.

I was soooo excited for this truck, told many about it, and had a few referrals that also ordered. We religiously watched each new video and intro documentaries with excitement... Now? Total disappointment and I'm shifting from a strong brand ambassador to one of frustration.

While I am super happy for those that have their trucks (!), it is crazy for me to see orders from 2021/late 2020, or Canada, or Middle East be served first. I understand business and the politics of new markets and new products, but I also understand communication, follow-through, and fulfilling obligations. FCA/Stellantis/Ram clearly has a different set of values than what I am used to as a current RAM owner.

I can cut a loss quickly, as there are many new cool trucks and EV trucks that have the speed and capability coming soon (and hey... what's the big deal waiting 6 months for new vehicles, right FCA?).

What should have been a great experience has now become a disappointment. Great product... horrible experience.

My deadline was 2/28 for my truck being built by my birthday and it just got built Friday but I'm stuck in repairs. I'm editing a video today that I said the same thing, we are at 6 months if you ordered in August and we are also 6 months away if want to go with a 2022 TRX. You can also jump on a build that is in progress if you want to go that route.

But plenty of good stuff coming out in the next year. I got a Hummer EV that I can't wait for. Especially since GM keeps sending me emails about it almost every month

Good things come to those who wait. I waited 9 months for the demon from order to delivery. 2/24 will be the 6 month mark for me.

read in a recent article that GM is all in on electric and not joining the big HP truck wars. Hummer is their solution

Everyone complaining about the TRX ordering experience has clearly never been one of the first to purchase a brand new model vehicle. When I ordered a gen2 Raptor back in 2016, it took 5 months to arrive at the dealer. Same with the GT500, C8, and any other all-new vehicle with high demand. These things just take time, whining about it every day doesn't help anyone.
If you want to cancel your order, I'm sure there are thousands of others in line who would be happy to snatch it up. I highly doubt the Hummer EV, Rivian R1T, Bronco, or any other all-new vehicle will be any different...

Nahhhh I’m good. If I start the engine and the shit isn’t rumbling, I’m not interested. I’ll be one of the last people to switch to electric
Just wait until the TRX is V6 in 2 years with a trombone exhaust...

Your last statement about what should have been a great experience sums this up very well. It’s too bad FCA just doesn’t care about that. I think most will be happy when they get their truck but FCA truly ruined the process and has pushed out trucks not ready (bolts missing, broken part, engine noise, etc.). There is no good solution to this at this point. Buying a vehicle from FCA is essentially rewarding bad behavior. Not buying may lead to the loss of deposit money or in some cases people have sold their vehicles in preparation for the new purchase. It’s just a mess. I hope everyone gets what they want out of this process. FCA on the other hand can go - - - -.

So what is the warranty on these batteries anyway?? I can only imagine the price to replace one on the EV Hummer must be outragous? I can see a lot of these EV's being leased out....

I hear ya! We all hate complainers. Sorry for my rant and glad that you recently had your build!

My (and everyone else's) issue is the very poor process and communication that has taken place. Nearly 6 months and I personally have not received ANY communication from FCA yet. Ouch. (I'm also getting a Rivian R1T and have had communications and expectations nicely set there. ) Nothin' from FCA.

I (we?) now simply feel like a foolish FCA follower...

Understood, and it really does suck that there has been a lack of communication. Do you have a VIN yet by any chance?
If it makes you feel any better, when I ordered the Raptor my dealer wouldn't give me any updates until the day the truck arrived. Ford had the same canned response on their customer service site, saying my truck order has been received and that was about it...
Maybe try reaching out to the gentleman who offered his name and number for those unhappy with their experience? I saw it on one of these forum posts...

I’m in that boat with you. I feel pretty foolish even considering given FCA a dollar of my hardly earned money. I made an agreement with my dealership and the clock is ticking March will be here before we know it and that’s my timeline to make a final decision.

I feel for all those who are still waiting, only worse thing is finally having your truck delivered damaged during transport and having to wait weeks for bolt on parts so you can finally take it home.

I was in your shoes a couple years ago. Wanted to cancel and got occupied with my home rebuild from tornado. That kind of took my mind off the Benz for a while. Lol. When it finally came in it was all worth it. Don’t let the wait ruin the experience.
