Clunk service bulletin

I have had this problem for awhile and need to take mine to dealer for a few others things.my problem is mine was built June 2022 so outside the build dates with the known problem but 100% has same problem. I know there are others in same situation but has anyone had dealer do something about it when build date was outside of bulletin?

Is this service only applicable to vehicles under the original warranty period?

Is the bulletin only for certain build months? My build is Feb 2022 and I just started getting the clunk at 8k miles.

I took my Sandblast in and the dealer covered it under warranty. No questions asked. All they do is re-grease the splines.

Is this “clunk” the noise the truck will make when putting it into reverse? Because mine will do that, wonder if it would be fixed from that…

This isn't the circumstance we'd like for any of our customers. If anyone is experiencing concerns with their respective vehicle, please send us a private message with details of your experience. Our team would like to see where we can assist and potentially provide a solution for the given concerns. Thank you everyone.

No it’s similar to recall
TSB’s are typically not covered outside of warranty. Not similar to a recall. Confirmed with my dealer that outside of warranty this “fix” which is only temporary won’t be applied.

Definitely didn't fix my clunk, it came back after 1500 miles. I had been living with it but just dropped off my truck and am getting a new driveshaft. I've heard the new driveshaft probably wont fix it either but I'm hoping it will at least last for long time before returning.

I got the TSB done about a month ago, it came back after 100 miles or so. Dropped off my truck again today to get a new driveshaft installed (53011135AF).

Not going to Bother , Just went out and bought the After mkt shaft and done

No it's usually around 1-2mph either speeding up or slowing down. It's really not THAT big of a deal, just an annoying reminder of something that needs to be fixed and maintained constantly.

I got my truck back from the dealer yesterday evening. They greased the shaft and replaced the boot. After reading a lot of comments about this "fix", I expect for the cluck to come back.

Can you give us an update after you get the driveshaft installed? I'd like to know if it fixed the issue.
