Change from Ram Care to Who cares

First off, many thanks to knightmare and tripleb for if it wasn't for them (and others) we would have no info at all. Ram Care's only input into this process of acquiring a TRX is "We can't help you with that, contact your dealer". The dealer tells you they don't have info on your build until they are told by "Ram Truck Division" . They incite us with super ads, awesome reviews, 702HP, and a great poke at FORD by devouring a Raptor. You also took a shit load of cash from me and I still don't know what status my truck is in. Build quantities are insufficient, incoming cash is consistent right, told all my family and friends I bought one, well, where is it they ask. I don't know. Why not. They won't answer me. Apparently their out of Black. Why aren't you filling sold orders instead of trucks for dealer stock or people who have bought after me. FCA has turned an ecstatic Dodge fan into a disappointed grumpy old man. All the anticipation and expected fun with this truck up in smoke. Yeah, I know, I caused all of this by buying one of your trucks, it's my fault. Four months ago I also bought a Challenger Hellcat and a Ram 1500 night edition. OK B R E A T H E

I got really pissed at one point too. Just look for a truck at sticker. When you find one, cancel your order and buy it

Right there with you man. No excuse or defending how Ram has handled this launch. They made a great product but established themselves to me as an awful brand to work with. No ones gonna change my mind on that one. I am obnoxiously critical of their roll out repeatedly but only with the hope that they might change how they do things. If everyone holds their feet to the fire, maybe the next big launch is better for whoever is willing to try Ram out again in the future.

Got an email from "Jeff" on an update on the 15th. Was gonna chase down a dealer stock this week but life delays prevented it. Took a day off next week to chase down a dealer stock. If it doesn't work out and Jeffs update on 3/15 is another useless cut and paste block, I'm just gonna move on. I am sure once I cancel and it becomes a dealer stock order, they will build it same day.

I genuinely think the TRX community on this forum is the best car/truck community I have been grateful to be a part of. Wish Ram would recognize that too and treat their sold order customers better. 23 trucks within 100 miles of me that are loaded TR2s, all with 10k-20k ADM......but Ram is choosing not to build ours. Says it all.

I couldn’t agree more. I posted that I tried to cancel my order and have never heard from my dealer (Planet DCJR) in the Miami area. Had to get my credit card company involved to get my down payment back. I’ve been Mopar for years with SRT’s, Vipers and a Demon. I’m getting rid of everything Mopar related given how disgusting this process has been. Good luck.

I think most of us waiting feel the same way. Really confused as to why dealer stock orders are more important than customer sold orders. I am certain they have a reason for it and I am certain they will never tell us. I am pretty sure none of us would agree with their logic in not communicating with customers or dealers and their logic for such an azz backwards way of filling orders randomly. I have said it several times but feel it’s worth repeating. There have to be the most unprofessional auto manufacture on the planet. Hard to understand why they are still in business but easy to understand why they keep getting sold.

Haha. Very true. The constant mergers now make sense. I don't think there is any other reason besides them abusing sold orders and taking them for granted. Sell more dealer stock while the hype is high cause us sold order chumps that ordered day 1 will wait. The Ram way. GM penalized dealers who sold C8s for ADM or had too many sold orders cancel by cuttings their allocation. Small dealers who only had 1 allocation sold for ADM but all the big dealers sold for MSRP and orders were made in a logical order. Ram could do that easily.....if they cared about their customer base.....but they don't.
