2011 Challenger SRT8, 2021 Ram TRX on order
Though I have tried and tried to get information from RAM or my dealer the answer is always cryptic or “Not yet”. I ordered my Flame Red TRX 10/02/20, but just can’t get any information. Needless to say this is frustrating to say the least. I’ve been following the build sheet reports and VIN’s much higher than mine are being built which adds to the frustration level. I contacted my dealer who is the largest SRT dealer in the Miami area with no success or response other than “not yet”. When I asked them to cancel the order they went totally silent. I put my $10,000 deposit on my Amex card which in hindsight the best thing I could have done. They got involved and I got my deposit refunded. Still no communication from my dealer. Though I was really looking forward to getting my TRX the process to get one built has left me totally frustrated. Always put any down payment on a CC if you can. It’s your only leverage. This is a great forum and congratulations to all of you who have received your trucks. Thanks for the opportunity to vent.

Call Tom at Dayton Andrews in Clearwater. granite lvl 2 built 3/1 May be available at msrp. A deposit for my cancelled order may have been placed but you never know

Lakeland says they have 3, but I am sure they have an ADM on them. Probably at least worth a call.

Also there is a red one in Jacksonville with 30,000 adm on it. I do show one in TN on autotrader in red but doesn't show adm.

Sorry to hear this but most will completely understand. Its been a frustrating process and even more so with the issues popping up post delivery for some.

I understand what you feel. My build week was just pushed back another two weeks and I am contemplating cancelling also. Not that two weeks is that big a deal, but it is two and then two and then more. It has been a long time with no info

But it IS a big deal, especially when you've been waiting so long and watching everyone else get built. Same thing happened to me, I was supposed to be built 2/1 but got bumped with no warning and no explanation. Awful feeling.

The build numbers are looking really good now-a-days (finally), besides the weather hiccups, they are being productive and trucks are being built. Does not justify their lack of communication, explanation, or plain downright lack of willingness to show any cards at all.

Lakeland has a 50k adm onn the LE and a 20k ADM on all others

I also canceled my order. Ordered my truck on 8/19/20. My dealer Swantys in Bullhead City AZ told me that they had two allocations at the time. They recently confessed that they were confused and had never received a allocation. They also told me on three different occasions that the truck was scheduled to be built or is currently in the final stages of the build process. Thanks to this forum I was able to do my own investigation an found out that my order date was changed from 8/19 when I ordered the truck to 12/2/2020. I must have been bumped. Swantys and their rep had no clue why this happened and said that they could not do anything about it. I contacted the Ram help line and they said that the would check into it and call me back. I am still waiting for that call. I am tired of not knowing and stressing over the truck so I cancelled the order. Maybe I will get a new Ford Shelby.

I learned a long time ago pay a deposit with a credit card to have them argue and get your money back while you go and find another deal. Plenty of Dealer Stock orders out there to be had at MSRP

I hear a lot of people talk about putting thousands of $$$$$ down. My dealership only required $500. That way, I didn't care if I lost it. Glad you got it back tho.
