Came home from vacation and TRX NOT WELL.

Here is an update, I finally got my truck back from the body shop yesterday. Pretty happy with how it turned out. The Bill was $20,764 and change. Only had a $100 deductible so not bad at all. They put a complete new roof on, new sunroof, new third brake light, new rear window, new windshield, new hood and repaint of the bed, roof, pillars, front fenders, and other miscellaneous things. I’m just happy that I got her back and in great condition.

Don't know the in person look but in these photos can't even tell that happened to you!

Yeah for sure, I'm pretty happy with how it came out, plus the Body shop that I used guarantees their work for as long as you own the vehicle. Compared to the picture that I took when I came back from Florida I wouldn't have thought it would look like new again.

Hopefully you never have to put them to the test on it. Had a uncle that got a lifetime paint job on is 69 camaro ss when it was basically new. He had it until he died they repainted it many times over that 40 years. Always fought it but he had the original paperwork and that was when they had few ways to weasel out of things. Looks great glad they got it fixed for ya!

Thank you, and they gave me paperwork as well with the lifetime guarantee..

20 fucking thousand dollars to fix that? What did they do, install an entire new cabin?

Amazing insurance you have. I need to dump GEICO. They definitely would NOT have taken care of me that well.

Great ending, glad it worked out well. Shelter Logic makes some quality enclosures I've seen perform well in Maine winters and the only ones I'd trust..Have a feeling your truck will never be under one again.. cheers

Thanks, It was a Shelter Logic lasted about 4 years or so.. Not going in one ever again... lol

Damn..lesson learned for me...truck looks great..enjoy!
I want to say we paid like $4200 for the Shelter Logic, My wife and I were coming back from the White Mountains, North Conway cruise, Kangamangus highway and we stopped at a Place in N.H. that sells them, so we decided to pick one up 26x24 and it really was a pretty nice portable garage. Stored a bunch of stuff in there plus my truck but lesson learned for sure. It would have been fine if I was home as we always clean the snow off after each snow storm. But luck wasn't on my side..
Bill

Ok, you're in NE...Im in S. NH or S. ME depending on the day...I know the storm that caused it...lol...Went back in time on a few texts and I broke the lower RH handle support on my 32" Ariens about Feb 20th....you posted getting back the 25th...That shit was brutal....like concrete...I was gassed after blowing the driveway.

Yeah that's the storm that did her in, real heavy snow and then rain on top of that and froze solid,
It was brutal getting her out of there.

Its pretty rare to be that bad..I was on it several times too and still ended up with 2"+ of shear ice at the end and taking that part to my welder...lol...Great times

Your truck looks great! Also, cool photos!
Just say no to tents! I used one one Winter as a temporary wood storage and it seemed like an accident waiting to happen. Constant maintence to keep it safe from snow collapse. Pretty sure they have a “life span” too.
Im glad you got it back and it does look like they did a nice job for you.

Great news on the repair, thanks for sharing!

That's actually not bad considering all they had to replace on his truck. I got in caught in a bad windstorm in my wife's Audi several years ago. It was mainly just paint, trim, new headlights and glass and the bill was $36k.
