Good Humpday evening greetings to my fellow RAM-TRX Forum members. Has anyone out there looked into, investigated or possibly already installed Cab Running Lights on a 2021 Model DT RAM 1500 TRX or other 1500 DT truck ? I have my 2021 TRX currently on assembly line. I was insistent that Cab Lights be added to my BEAST but was told that MOPAR has not yet produced an accessory Cab Running Light Set that will properly fit the roof contours of the DT body shape. I am afflicted with need for Cab Running Lights having become addicted to the "Junior Trucker" look of them illuminating the roof of my 2017 RAM Power Wagon. Additionally I have been told the the age old standard Mopar accessory offered Cab Running Light Set No. 82211190AB can be Mickey Moused to work by using makeshift gaskets along with a weatherproof sealant. Kindly Thanking in advance anyone out there that might lend any helpful experience, knowledge or advise. Much Obliged - POWERAM

It would be a pain to install but its doable. I have installed cab lights on a few 99-06 super duties and its easier for a regular cab truck but on a crew cab, you can't get the headliner out without bending it. Some don't bend at all depending on the truck. Best to work around it and drill the wholes and run wiring. Easier with two people. Mark up the spots evenly spaced out and then drop the front half of the headliner. Have one person pull it down enough and the second guy drill the holes out and then hold cab light in place while the second guy tightens down the lights.

I have not tried this product but its a new approach. No clue how good it is but the concept is pretty great:
