BWoody Options

So I’m looking at buying the BWoody Intake but I don’t know if I should add on the options like
-Upgraded filter
-Tbolt or worm gear clamls
-IAT MAP harness

Any recommendations on what to do?

My recommendation is buy this one, not mine but saw it in the classifieds section.

Used for 3k miles and swapped out for the afe intake due to extemely dusty/dirty environment. Looking for a local sale in Pittsburgh area but will ship for cost. Looking for $500 local pickup and roughly $550 shipped.

Upgraded filter is a bigger filter probably provides more whine

I suggest the tbolt as worm gears tend to loosen

It states on their site if you're in warm climate you need the harness or it'll pop a CEL

In my experience the upgraded filter does not whine more than the regular filter, but supposedly it does have higher cfm numbers. If you are keeping the motor stock the regular one should be good. I got the pre charger(cover that goes over filter). I was told it helps keep water out. Tbolt clamps are definitely worth while, I got mine on amazon so it’s not something you have to get from initial purchase if you want to try the worm gears first. as for the IAT MAP harness, I didn’t purchase one. I live in PA which gets pretty hot humid days and have had no issues. It definitely depends on where you live.

I did not get any options. I Didn't feel like my stock motor would benefit from from the upgraded filter. I felt just fine using the stock clamps. I live in Cali and have drove the truck many times thru 105+ weather. No issues with anything. Been on for thousands of miles.
