Anyone in Colorado have a set of the factory Beadlock rims you need to get rid of? I bought my 24 with 22" rims. It came with the beadlocks but the owner has a car shop in Denver and put 22s on it and got rid of the beadlocks. They're not bad looking rims but I'd prefer the factory "beadlock" rims. I think they look better and I

don't need 37s.

What car shop? Just asking so I know to avoid it 🤣. Jk.

LOL, They wouldn't tell me the shop, and honestly I wouldn't tell... All I know is he traded my 2024 Final edition and a 392 Wrangler for a BMW something and I was told that by 2 different guys on 2 different trips. I'm not a BMW guy, I've always owned Fords and Jeeps until now. The whole truck is covered with a clear bra, the whole truck. I do really like the metal topper and where I live in the CO foothills the clear coating may be pretty cool. Our road is 1.5 miles and 600+ rise in elevation and .5 miles is flat. I tell my friends to decide at the bottom when it's snowing if they're going to make it, there's no changing your mind! This truck's babying days are over but I don't want to do any crazy mods either. This is my daily driver and I need it reliable. My raptor's biggest issue was, well it was kinda a dog, but NEVER had an issue. I only wore out the front shocks and the battery, that's it in 8 years... I don't expect that from the TRX but I do need a reliable, FUN, 4x4 truck. I want a Shelby but just can't have one here so I joined the TRX club.

Honestly these rims aren't that bad. I like how they fill the fenders, and no rubbing! However, I really want the stock beadlocks it came with and am looking soooo... if you know of any in CO I'm all over it.

Also, thanks for the help everyone! It's hard to come up to speed fast on such a switch and you all have been a lot of help. I'm trying to read all the threads but it's sooooo easy to get lost in the weeds in the beginning.

I'll pray to the Ram gods to deliver a good SW update. By the way I test SW for a living, for over 30 years, so this is REALLY painful for me... Ram should let me take a shot at it first before rolling out to everyone... 😁

Thanks!

FWIW the beadlocks are significantly heavier than the “peasant” wheels (12 lbs per). If that matters to you for performance purposes.

Getting rid of the 22’s you will already feel an improvement in ride quality and acceleration from ditching 37’s. Savings 48lbs in rotating mass will even further it.

Agree - I went with the 'Steerage Class' standard wheels to maximize (stock) performance (my 16-18k/OEM set replacements are cheaper too!).

Philosophers like Kant, Socrates, Nietzsche, and Vanilla Ice would suggest...

You successfully purchased the fastest color -🦖 ⚪ 🦖no need to handicap your truck like volunteering to Ride-Share with LIZZO.

From you point of view, how in the world can it be taking this long to fix our software? The first noticeable software change happened over a year ago and its been getting worse and worse with each "fix".

My "opinion/guess" is they messed this up in a rush to market/sale, maybe a new truck or new features to include in the SW. In that rush they pressure the Developers and Test team to meet an unrealistic schedule and cut corners testing to hit a date that was announced by the marketing team that has no idea what it will take to deliver and the end result is buggy SW. They also likely only have 1 team to test new features and fixes and the priority will always be new features and never testing of fixes, fixes don't drive revenue. This is not unique to RAM but a more common issue across SW test in general these days. Cost cuts cut team size and then test coverage and then quality but there is NEVER an increase to the schedules as there's always a race to market to sell the new product. Vehicles have a pretty specific market cycle that doesn't change much.

This tends to eb and flow. Once the company starts to piss off enough customers and they lose confidence they hire and spend more to improve quality, but the customers never forget. You never get another chance to win over a customer, once you let buggy SW out and people get bit by it you never forget. However in today's industry where companies are managed by quarter and not overall satisfaction this is what you get. Right now they're still focused on the new features and not the bugs, but it will eventually change as more people complain and it starts to effect them financially, until it hits their bottom line this is how it will be... Only when bugs cost them $, new sales or $ to fix does quality change.

I'll add that every company I've worked for and industry friends have tested SW for go through this. The test team is the last step before release and the team that gets squeezed by dates the most. Management never sees the bugs we find only what gets missed and new features and sales cycles drive revenue, not fixes... :(

From a customer's point of view there's no excuse for bugs, from a company's view it's ok, until it effects the bottom line.

I figured as much and can understand in some regards but Stellantis being such a large global entity I have no sympathy or patience. At this point its not just a failure but a complete embarrassment on their behalf.

Fortunately, the penalty on performance for wheel weight is only 50% of tire weight.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you 100%. It pains me to see these kinds of simple to find bugs getting in the wild. Just giving my $.02 worth on what's happening. We need to be vocal as much as possible and push for the fixes.

One of the few white ones I've seen with a SmartCap! I've been chewing on this for a long time as I need a different cargo solution. Do you by chance sharing more pics from different angles? Front, back, angled side, etc...

How's this???

I have a set of the satin titanium beadlocks shipping I bought on Ebay. I thought the factory black would be great on my white and black truck but sheesh were they expensive, $1k each, then shipping. I believe this is what she came with and I like the look.

If anyone wants the 22" rims and 37x12.5x22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers let me know...

Fixed it... I love the look of the stock beadlock rims. I can feel the difference in pep with the 35s. Honestly I like the way the 37s look and fill the fenders but I have to have a matching spare so I'm sticking with the 35s for now.

Soo.... If anyone wants a set of 22" rims with 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers.... Gently used.
