As soon as we have confirmation of fitment or necessary modifications, will let you know. As of right now, there's quite a few 2019-2021 Ram 1500s with the Mopar Ram Bar and these tri-folds but not one has expressed details as to what modifications were done (if they were even needed).

What is the difference between backflip f1 and mx4?

The F1 has FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels) which make it the strongest and yet lightest of the BAK Tri-Fold covers. Gloss Black Finish compared to the Matte finish with Aluminum Panels on the MX4.

The corner Plastic cap won’t stay attached. I called bakflip and without any questions or hassle they said they sending me a new one. They have great customer service

I heard you can close the tailgate on the MX4 without lifting the cover. On the F1 model, you have to lift the cover to shut the tailgate. Is that correct?

Don’t know about the F1 but the mx4 yes you can close tailgate with cover closed

Glad to hear that! With us being an Authorized Dealer for all the Truck Hero brands, any warranty issues are streamlined by us or any other customers who reach out directly. We have a great relationship with them.

Don’t know about the F1 but the mx4 yes you can close tailgate with cover closed

Correct with the MX4, no need to open the tailgate. F1 on the other hand you do in order to avoid damaging the end seal.
