Is there a way to disable the shift lock if the door is open? There’s a gate I have to stop at, open and then pass through get out and close, i can’t shift into D and roll through unless the door is closed..🤨

If I had to guess……..You plug the “extension” at the link into your seat belt receptacle and then plug your shoulder strap into the extension. When you unplug your shoulder strap from the extension, the truck thinks the seat belt is still engaged and it allows you to drive with door open?

I’ve already disabled the seat belt alarm (saw how on instagram) it’s got nothing to do with seat belts. If you shift the truck into D with the door open, it won’t move, you gotta shift to park and back to D to get the truck to move

It's not the alarm. If the truck doesn't detect that the seatbelt is engaged in the buckle, it does the auto-park thing. Try this as a test, instead of the extension, buckle your seatbelt behind you and see if you can avoid the auto-park "feature". If so, the extension is an option for you to consider.

Say what? I drive without buckling up lot's of times, often for hundreds of miles at a time.

In your first post you asked how to disable auto-park with the door open. What I described does it, especially if you have to raise off of the seat.

Just plug it in. Truck thinks the seatbelt is being used. I wanted to be able to drive (back up) with the door open and this allows that among other things.
