Can the Author Config application be run from a tablet or does it require a phone?

You mean author id? Yes as long as its a Bluetooth device it should work.

I am trying to access the IGLA setup via the CONFIG app. My Android tablet doesn't seem to see IGLA (or the other way around) according to what should happen via the IGLA user's manual.
I had an iPhone registered to my IGLA via the Author ID. That phone was destroyed and I have a new iPhone. I followed the IGLA User's manual to delete all registered Author ID bluetooth devices and re-added my new iPhone. My new iPhone is successfully registered via Author ID. Now I would like to use Author Config to confirm the Author ID registered devices and their settings.

You don’t, thats an old installer app for turning bluetooth up and down. This is why we don’t give manuals out (its an installer manual not a user manual) I had them make us a user manual for customers though and it has been included in newer packaging

Oh, I see. This is the manual I am looking at...
That looks like the one I had them make. Should just be the basics. The author config app is not an end user app in the US. In other countries it might be. There is nothing in it for you to use.
