Thank you so much for the help! The connector at the factory sub as two wires which I tapped into. I believe one was black, the other was green.
The standard TRX system is the Alpine upgrade in other RAM trucks. I wouldn't say it is trash at all but I have never heard a single factory stereo I was satisfied with. If you are satisfied with a Bose lifestyle home system (or the like), the Alpine should be fine. Possibly add a subwoofer.Need some help I plan on purchasing a new trx next week. Has every option I wanted but no Harmon kardon upgraded radio. Anyone know what the stock system is I can’t find any info on it. Is it good or trash. And I’d trash what upgrades should I get. Thank you
I currently have a 18 Laramie with the Alphine. And it sounds pretty good. Does it not come with a factory sub?The standard TRX system is the Alpine upgrade in other RAM trucks. It does. A small 8" in a sealed enclosure behind the seat. I was just saying based on preference, one might want more bass and be happy with with mids/highs.I currently have a 18 Laramie with the Alphine. And it sounds pretty good. Does it not come with a factory sub?
Thank you!Hey everyone,
I've seen a few threads and posts regarding audio upgrades. I scrolled through those threads, pulled in some information I had from previous builds and compiled what I hope is a complete list of all the information we need. Thanks to @Jackson, @HellcatTruck, and @techguy926 for posting their builds.
I will add speaker wire colors once I get a chance to sit down and dig that up. If some has it handy and wants to post it or send it my way to add here, it would be much appreciated.

Not unless you plan on running a fiber optic cable to a processor before your amp. Otherwise, just run RCAs to your amp from the PAC.So i

Get the full pac audio piece (CH41) and just run the RCA's for the sub. Not sure why you you need the ch03 harness if you're only adding a sub. RCA from the pac to the amp. Speaker wire from the amp to the stealthbox.I don’t have much knowledge when it comes to car audio! I ordered a jl audio stealthbox and the vx1000 amp w the pacamp pro! The installer wanted to use a lc2i pro but I was told that doesent integrate well w the oem! They don’t have the PAC apc-ch03 in stock? Is it still possible to do the install without the apc-ch03 harness or should I go w the lc2i pro? I have the Hk system! And may want to change out the speakers in the near future

Have you gotten any more information about UConnect5 compatibility?Just an update here everyone....reading somethings that this may be at least partially invalid with the new UConnect5 radios.
The plugs are different on the uconnect 5 radio. PAC doesn’t make anything for it yet.Anyone attempt audio upgrades with uconnect 5? I’m assuming it should be the same?
Already working on a solution Pictures and info coming soon. The plugs are different on the uconnect 5 radio. PAC doesn’t make anything for it yet.
