Attempted theft in Santa Clarita 7/29/24

Typical bullshit, they broke the back middle window and popped out the lights panel.

They made a key but made a mistake and turned it on. His truck is srt auto works package truck and he heard it.

Ran out with a g*n and his vest. Thankfully they ran away, but left their key and the device which cops took in as evidence.

Circled around a few times to get the stuff I’m assuming but they wouldn’t dare to try again.

Finally convinced him to get igla. Now I’m his neighbor, literally a street up. I think I may be next but my truck has igla. Fuck I’ll hate to deal with the broken window.

FYI, they were in a modified red Infiniti. Very young too. I hope they know that it’s not worth dying over stealing cars.

They’re very fortunate they didn’t have a weapon in their hand or else they’d be seriously injured or dead.

I’m always worried I would take my real guns to confront the thief and really don’t want the legal drama of what could go wrong.

Crazy how the world has become this, a place where regular working people are more afraid of legal action from a theif than a theif is of the law. Weird how that happens when excuses keep being given for shit behavior. Dropping a theif in the act is not wrong, them coming to your place to take your belongs is. We would all do good to remember that!

In my opinion once a person enters your property with intent on committing a crime he should no longer have any rights at all and we should be able to take our own course of action against said person to protect our property/belongings. This should be a world law not just state by state or country to country. I live in Ontario Canada and it's a fucking mess up here too. Not going to say any more or this will get political really quick and that's a sore topic on forums lol.
