ATI 10% Damper with Dyno (updated on page 3 for 2.85 upper, 1300 injectors and tune)

This thread bump last month really cost me. I started thinking it would be fun to squeeze some more power out since it’s been a year or so and you know how you start to get used to things. Talked to my same shop and I’m going back in to do:

2.85 upper pulled
1200 cc injectors
Proper tune, for 93 octane only at this point

Will report back in a few weeks with dyno numbers (unless they are bad).
Have them do a base line dyno with the ATI and no tune to see where the HP is at before new mods

For sure. I posted a baseline at the beginning of this thread from last year which was 690 or so rear wheel but will make sure he does it again. Curious if it changed over time anyway

Ok guys, I picked up my truck from Serious HP today. I am super excited. As a reminder, in 2024 I added an S&B intake and an ATI lower damper but no tune and dyno'd at 690 hp and 625 tq. Up from a baseline of 610/566.

This week I had Michael install:

2.85 GripTec upper pulley
R&R 1300 injectors
Custom tune
586 belt

I am really pleased with the results. My truck dyno'd at 799 hp / 750 tq. I didn't get on it super hard on the drive home due to traffic, but saw boost hit 16 psi a couple of time on the boost gauge. I notice that the boost spools up much earlier in the rpm cycle. Maybe that is obvious.

Dyno pics to come in next post ...

This is at about the power level that I would love to have. For performance mods that I have right now is just the Corner Stone Performance open intake, and I also have the Predator pulley on. I wish there was a good shop near me that could get me to around this power level on 93 octane. I live in Southern Maine so if anyone knows of a great shop fairly close to me (in New England area Preferably) let me know and about them and around how much would this cost me? Great numbers on your build, only thing that's really been holding me back is finding the right shop. It looks like you picked up about 190 hp/ and 185 tq over stock. That would make me a happy man for a while..
What would be a typical 1/4 mile pass at this power, 11.40's or so? Sorry for running on but your build has got me thinking about it again.
Bill

On pump gas you will need to swap the OEM blower for either a whipple or turbo setup. Roughly $15-20k depending on which route you go and the shops labor rates.

Thanks man. And great question. I’m not sure but would like to know the answer.

Came out to our ranch this weekend so got to rip it on some back roads a bit. Saw boost touch 17 psi. No idea if that’s good or not.

Feels like a new truck which is really fun.

What do you think about the new Kong 2650 blower?
