ARH Header Install

hahahhahah Amen to that, how did you make out?
Passenger side on, ready to start drivers side in the morning. I forgot that I had purchased header bolts that were made to not back out on my 5.7. Hopefully these are ok. Did you hear cycle yours to see if they loosened up at all and tighten down before putting back together?

Yes I did I left my wheel wells out and went for a drive and came back and made sure everything was tight. Then proceeded with putting wheel wells back in.

I actually like my neighbors. Really just wondering how much louder the TRX is with headers on a cold start.
I will have a video posted for you early AM. I have full exhaust as well so it’s gonna be louder than stock but you will still get an idea.

Is tuning required after installing headers?

How about impact on emissions?

If you do stock cars you will not need a tune. I still have cats on and no tune. But I do plan on removing them soon.

Was space really that bad that they couldn’t fit the Hellcat/392 manifold and had to go with that log style?

Some day I may have to take a drive to a shop that is familiar with the Hellcat motor and have these thrown on.

I put ARH on my GT 500 which probably has sone similarities as far as space.

My advice would be get them heat coated first so you don’t have to take them off and do it all again like me.

Also in the gr500 it became a 2 person job as some bolts were hard to thread and had to have a person put pressure on the head with a flat screw driver while another went in from below to turn a wrench. In the end a great product but the install was a little more challenging than on a 60’s car

A stork would help with some of these bolts. One click at a time with a small 1/4” ratchet, holding at an angle to not fall off, or one turn bit at a time. 10mm wrench fun…. I keep thinking about all the advice around patience….

What's the A/F ratio after the header install? Is it about the same as stock or is it running richer?

Did your shifter cable ride on the frame like this after the removal of the factory bracket and using theirs?

yes if your concerned about rubbing wrap it in aluminum tape.
Cool, thanks. I still have another hour, need to get O2 sensors on, drivers side cat one seems short, may need to cut wire tie above, and I didn’t add the drivers side O2 extension on before putting cat back.

It will definitely bark on startup.
