Anyone try these? They may be a perfect size for no rubbing without any mods.

I love Toyo Open Country M/T's. Great offroad tire, aggressive tread design, and almost indestructible. Was looking at sizes for when the Goodyears need replacing and saw this size; 315/70/18. An Inch taller than OEM and a tiny bit wider. The OEM tire is 34.6" tall and 12.8" wide and this Toyo is 35.7" tall and 13" wide. This could be a perfect fit without worrying about rubbing or a leveling kit. I may pull the trigger.

I had those on a 3/4 ton several years back, excellent tire and size, lasted forever. Just super HEAVY, i can't say if it will neuter the truck's performance completely, but i bet its pretty noticeable. I want to say they were 82 or 84 lbs each, compared to 62 (? I think) of the oem. Just something to consider. Otherwise excellent tire, i would absolutely have them again

I ran the 40x15.50 Toyo M/T for years on my JL and F-250…great tire! That is what I will be going with on my TRX 100%.

You could be right, if they are mounted on a TRX OEM rim or aftermarket rim with the same offset..

I had BFG KM3s in the stock size installed, much heavier but can’t notice it…the truck feels much more stable on E rated tires.
